In the exhibition An echo buried deep deep down but calling still Basel Abbas and Ruanne Abou-Rahme explore the echo. Images and movements recur. Voices and melodies overlap and are repeated. The exhibition space functions as a resonance chamber, amplifying fragments of stories and memories, impressions of ongoing struggles for freedom and self-determination.
