My wife handed her phone to me yesterday as I'm sitting on the steps of our little store soaking up as much of that beautiful sunshine as I could get. As I'm listening to this song, tears flowed down my cheeks for a good 15 minutes after watching it 3 times. As I handed the phone back to her, she asked me if I liked it. I could hardly speak with a huge lump in my throat. She said, "Well did you?" I stopped and said, "This is why I always wanted a little girl." She said, "What?" I said, "So she could sing a song like this to me some day." I was a mess... This is without a doubt the most beautiful version of Hallelujah by Leonard Cohen I have ever heard. These two sisters, Cassandra & Callahan, are not only beautiful, their voices are simply angelic.

My kids sat down when I started playing this and just listened. Thank you for your beautiful voice's in these trying times. 💗 I am truely touched. It's been a long time since a song brought me to tears.

I’ve been a firefighter for nearly 30 years, I served during 2 gulf wars, I’ve been shot at, stabbed multiple times, and seen more death and destruction than any person probably should. Not a lot moves me anymore, but before these young ladies were even done with the first line, I was driven to my knees, where I belonged, begging for forgiveness and mercy. I’ve probably listened to this song 20 times today. Absolutely beautiful and definitely a god send in these times. God bless you ladies and Lin Wood for posting this on telegram this morning.

Last evening, my wife says to me, "I want you to listen to this version of 'Hallelujah'." I told her, "I'm not a big fan of that song." She says, "This is different. Listen to the lyrics." So, with my eyes closed and my forehead pressed against my folded hands, I start to listen. The angelic voices were new to me, and the lyrics were not the depressing lyrics of Cohen. At once, the emotion welled up inside me, the tears started flowing down my cheeks. I had just come home from Stations of the Cross and from Reconciliation at church, and this was God's way of telling me he heard my prayers of contrition, love and hope. Cassandra and Callahan, thank you for a beautiful, touching, and blessed song. To Kelley, Jeff, Maverick and everyone involved, thank you so much for this. May God bless all of you and may this video blow up the internet. Let the whole world hear and know the glory of the God who loves them so much, He sent His Son, and the love His Son has for us to suffer for us. I am a pastor, recently guilty of despair in witnessing much of what has happened in recent times. I was aware of Cohen's Hallelujah without really caring for it one way or another. I woke this morning and am preparing teas since I am not a coffee person but still find myself with too much blood clogging up my caffeine system. As I await the pot that is reluctant to boil, I sat down at my computer to ponder the tasks ahead of me in preparing my little church for passion Sunday, tomorrow, and the rest of Holy Week and have to fit it in a 600 mile round trip to San Antonio. My attitude left something to be desired. For some reason, this video came up in my KZread feed. I almost ignored it but my fingers clicked without an regard for my intentions. I then sat mesmerized. I want to thank both of you for returning a bit of my sanity and for the joy you have brought me this morning. May you both continue to be blessed and may God continue to use you as instruments to bless creation.

I read the latest comment, i cant top Any Of them. I'm 68 and found this a couple of weeks ago. I replayed several times, yes, tears and deep heartfelt meaning. I shared too family and friends..... I've listened several times since 3 more times just now.....I'm so muuch closer to God . I was bought up with religion but doubted all along....... Now Jesus is near.

My mother has dementia... and she's always loved God. It's harder for her to talk about Jesus now- she can't find the words she needs. Today I gave her a little Easter service since she couldn't go to church. I signed (in ASL) this song for her and she loved it. Her face was so peaceful. Thank you for this song! It's beautiful.

God bless you! My husband and I cared for his Mother who had dementia for 7 years. She became whole again this past August. When I heard this 😭 I thought she would have loved it. I would play soothing music to help her anxiety. One I played every night was Jesus, King of Angels by Fernando Ortega. Praying for you and your Mother 🙏🏻♥️

God is faithful to His covenant promises. Be at peace, my dear sister in Christ. May the Lord be with you too as you care for your mother. I am a Registered Nurse and a Christian. I cried when I listened to this. What Jesus went through for us---- he was beaten to a pulp, he lost so much blood during the whippings he got, that a human would not be able to survive. They shoved piercing thorns into his head and mocked him, and then he had to carry that heavy cross up Calvary hill and the grand finale .....nailed him to the cross...I thank you Jesus Christ Son of God.

I'm a Christian as well and when I read the death of Christ at the cross I'm always shocked and heartbroken at how evil we are as human beings, how hateful and merciless we can be...it's only the grace of God that He considers such lowly beings worthy of His love....

Jesus is still calling, waiting for you, who is reading this right now, to come to him, receive His redemption, hope for tomorrow and everlasting life with Him and our heavenly Father

The two sisters did a wonderful job with the song, but I'd wager that they wanted Jesus Himself to get the 'serious recognition' rather than themselves.

Brought tears to my eyes just thinking about wgat Jesus had to be thinking- knowing that he had never sinned yet in so much pain. So much pain not just physical but had to wonder why the EVIL people could do this to a human being when he had shown them so much love just spreading the word of God. Eyes tearing up now.

@@alphaviews4639 Then why do your prophets in your Old Testament tell that your Messiah must come BEFORE the destruction of the temple, which was destroyed in 70 AD. Who was He? Or are you saying God lies? Also, what about the exact timing of the 69th week of Daniel. It gave the exact time your Messiah would come. So, who was He? Search your own scriptures and don't rely on what someone told you. Read them yourself and hear the word of the LORD. Isaiah 53 gives a description of who your Messiah would be, when He came. Who fits that description according to YOUR prophets? God Bless.

As i was listening to this song, the tears just flew 😢. My granddaughter just took tissues and wiped my tears and asked me why I'm crying so much. I told her that because Jesus had died, such a painful death for my sins and that I'm forever grateful 🙏 . That's why I will be obedient to His Word until I meet my Savior.
