Full titanium under 90 bucks... i have a feeling this might just be the gateway to titanium watches for many
I love field watches for their readability which at my age is becoming a huge necessity when choosing a watch. I seriously considered buying a Bertucci but never quite pulled the trigger. I guess the Titanium look is what Bertucci was trying to emulate with their brushed Stainless Steel and as a younger man I might have avoided Titanium since I’ve scratched many watches over the years (even as a child I remember having my watch crystal replaced several times) but now that I’m retired my watches no longer need to absorb the stresses of a working man and I just love the Titanium look. The Voyager looks to be great value and with a Seiko movement (my favourite brand) you simply can’t go wrong.
I bought one of these Boderry Voyager's and, without doubt, its the best value watch I have ever had. I have no doubt if it had Seiko stamped on it, it would be five times + the price with Hardlex not Sapphire glass. The lume may not be the brightest but I could still read the time six hours later in the dark no problem. The hands, dial and case are perfect to me - all in all blown away with this one.
This watch was a great value when it was housing a Miyota 8015 movement. With a Seiko NH35, it may be one of the greatest bargains out there! Thanks, Jody, for continuing to educate & entertain watch enthusiasts world-wide. 😋
It's absolutely crazy how good microbrands have become since i started getting into watches. Back then microbrands were few and far between and you only got to know them through forums and a fair amount of them were basically just modded Seikos or made in incredibly small numbers by hobbyists. I couldn't have imagined ever being able to get a full titanium watch for under 100$. Every time i come here its so nice to see how easy it is to get into the hobby with very little money for the quality these days!
I came across this channel for the mere concept of finding great value for money in the world of watches, but it’s really your personality, objectivity, and down to earth perspective that set it apart from others for me. This video is the perfect example of what this channel is all about: a great looking time piece that’s also utilitarian and with a ridiculously good value proposition. Great job, mate!! Love the content, looking forward to your own release in the next few days! Take care!

suck up
I really love how they didn't cheap out on the bracelet, but made it full titanium as well. Considering the price, it's great!
This Boderry looks like a fantastic value. After adding the Berny titanium to my collection I’m hooked on titanium watches and will definitely be getting one of these. Thank you so much for another great review!
Hello everyone! Actually pulled the trigger two weeks ago on one of these Boderry Voyager Field watches. I chose the “awkward” gray dial model, with the Zulu strap and the NH36 movement… and I am very impressed with this little firecracker. It’s my first titanium watch (my first Chinese brand watch as well) and I still can’t get over the value for money proposition it brings to the table. It’s mind boggling, really. Jody mentions the Bertucci similarity - and he’s right! - but I think it goes beyond that: the lug design reminds me of my MK40 and that is a pretty cool little detail. The crown is a joy to operate, the lume is sufficient, the wearing experience is sublime, the finish is pretty spectacular for those 82€ I payed for it… and the dial on mine is so weird, it actually has me completely charmed! But I wouldn’t say no to another version of these! 😅
Another great review Jody. Thanks for sourcing these gems to review. Excellent specs, titanium, Seiko NH35 movement, sapphire, screw down crown and case back, quick release on a titanium bracelet. The 40mm dial is the absolute minimum diameter for me and the black dial is #1, white #2. Pity about the current AUD to USD exchange rate, which makes the watch with the titanium band over $200AUD. Not fond of Nato straps, but at around $135AUD it's acceptable to me. If I don't win one of your giveaways, I might just have to get "just one more watch".
Impressed with the spec so I've ordered one. The container packaging is brilliant and relevant to my logistics job where I import containers daily.
Only recently got into automatic mechanical watches. I have four already. I'm amazed at the value, specs, and the quality from the Chinese watchmakers! Not heard of BODERRY until your video. The Voyager looks great in that matte gray. I'd buy one just for the box! That's cool and original. 👍
The black dial is clearly the best. I think the lugs are definitely shorter than the Bertucci (49.2 vs 49.5) which is a minor plus in my opinion. And an NH35 and sapphire with a titanium bracelet for US$132 is simply insane. I'd buy one. I may just buy one right now actually. First mod is to swap the date wheel to black on the black dial version.
No one does watch reviews better than you Jodie. You are the King of astute & "Timely" commentary. Kind Regards, Dave in USA
Another great review. It would have been cool to see a side profile on the zulu to see where the spring bars sit compared to the fixed lug bertucci. On watches that look best on pass through straps, I like see if the strap will pass through pretty flat (good), or snake up-and-over high springbars and back under a low caseback (creating unsightly gappage!). Either way, great review and great value... especially if free!
Wow, really excited to see what this brand will release in the future! Excellent value on these watches. Really digging their elegant and seaturtles as well
I've almost bought a Bertucci a few times, but these really up the value, and hey, the shipping boxes rock! Thanks Jody and bring on the JOMW merch soon!
Being a fellow watch lover I enjoy your videos. My budget is usually always on the lower end for watches unfortunately, but you really do open up the world to amazing watches for the money! Always appreciated!
I've had one of these in my wish list for some time, but it just keeps getting bumped for something else so far. I was really excited to see that they'd released it in bronze now, and also happy to see them upgrading the movements to Seiko. I do wish they'd gone that last step with making the lugs have a monolithic bar, like the Bertucci, but I can certainly live without having it, and I do appreciate the twisted lug design they went with, it gives the watches a bit of understated flair! Anyway, Boderry's got a fairly wide range of cool watches, and all of them seem to be at great prices for the specs you get! Thanks for the awesome giveaway Jody and Boderry!
Thanks for the review. I have looked at these on and off for several months and glad to see a review. Not sure how they do it for under $100 USD but glad they can.
Those boxes alone really up the value proposition here. Counting down to the JOMW brand merch... Can't wait to see it.

Great looking field watches. Im already a fan of Bertucci. Currently suffering from field watch and titanium watch acquisition disorder. So this hits the spot very nicely! Good luck everyone, slightly more good luck to me. 😊
Hi Jody! I have been registered to Boderry's newsletter. I love Titanium watches, and as a matter of fact, I have Hamilton Khaki Navy Frogman Automatic which is high-grade titanium. The main advantage of titanium over steel is its strength-to-weight ratio. While steel is stronger than titanium, titanium is lighter and can support more weight relative to its own. This makes it well-suited for applications where both strength and weight are factors, such as aerospace, sports equipment, and biomedical implants. Additionally, titanium has good fatigue resistance, meaning it can withstand repeated stress cycles without failure. On the other hand, steel is more susceptible to fatigue cracking and may not be the best choice for these applications. Also, I love the subdued, matte finish, dark silver watches, even if they are made out of steel. What do you think of Titanium watches?

Titanium watches are a godsend for those who have alllergies when using a stainless steel watch. Glad to see them getting more affordable and variety.
I've owned the bertucci for quite some time and I'm very fond of the design. I've always thought they were a bit overpriced and Boderry has made that all the more evident with these field watches. Great review Jody!
If you haven't reviewed them, Berny has a titanium watch with a meca quartz movement that has a VERY Seiko SNK vibe. Maybe too much of an SNK vibe for some but now that the SNKs aren't available, I can give it even more of a pass. One of the cheapest watches I've bought in the last couple of years and I just love it.
@duckrutt
9 ай бұрын
Seiko replaced the SNK (SRPG which is more expensive of course) so I wouldn't feel too bad about buying one. VH31 is a no date movement? I have an irrational hatred of a ghost date position so that makes it even more tempting.
@czguy3045
9 ай бұрын
@@duckrutt Correct. No date position.
Great video today. Value for these watches are amazing - automatic movement, sapphire crystal, titanium strap and nylon alternative. Cool design always been interested in a field watch but never really understood the long lug to lug.
I'm really look forward to your first watch release. I have tried to swear off watch collecting, but they keep getting better and more affordable. So many amazing watches. This is another beauty, thanks for sharing!
I'm usually one to go for the bracelet, but given that longer lug to lug, female end links, and a clasp that might not hold up as long, I actually think the zulu strap might be the better option (or rather, taking the hardware and playing around with all sorts of other straps). And I might be the odd one out on this, but I love the salmon dial with blue hands!
@xniorvox
9 ай бұрын
Not odd at all mate, I completely agree with you. I would go for the zulu as well, since this bracelet looks quite cheap and I have a lot of nice NATOs 22 mm kicking around. Also the salmon / blue is in my opinion the prettiest of them all!

Thanks, again, for giving back to the fans, Jody. The bronze Voyager also looks interesting and reasonably priced.
I adore titanium as a material, from history of use to its properties and seeing titanium on such an affordable watch is amazing. It is especially interesting for me to see such material on the watch that looks like it is from another time.
One hell of a value on these field watches. The established watch brands need to pay attention the the specs, fit, and finish being offered by these Chinese factory brands and follow suit. Thanks Jody!

Another great video Jody! Thanks for highlighting more of the budget end of the watch market - it really helps out us collectors with little budget to work with!!
This is an insane deal I was hoping the pink dial was actually copper... I would've bought that sooooo fast 😅
Field watches are truly underappreciated in the Watch enthusiast community so these are a welcome addition!
Always an informative and enjoyable experience watching your videos. Too bad they didn't go with a full lume dial on the white one. That would look awesome. Thanks again for another great episode. Looking forward to your watch too.
Good one this, I'm in the titanium trend. I just picked a citizen and now looking to check this Boderry. Thanks for the video.
I am very curious about these watches. I am impressed with the look, design, and the sapphire crystal at this price range. Looking forward to trying one
Really love the box that comes with it. Those container boxes are both creative and fun. Really great value watch.
Thanks for the hours of entertainment and reviews Jody. You've really sparked my interest in watch collecting. Although an interesting watch review it feels very similar to my current Seiko automatic field watch. Your upcoming diver's watch release has certainly piqued my interest though, maybe even instead of the Citizen Eco-Drive I had my eye on... although the price you mentioned makes it almost twice as expensive as that... so we'll have to see. Maybe winning this competition will sway me towards your first offering ;-) Cheers Lucien
Still tops in my book for a KZread watch channel. And talk about timing, I saw a FB add for the watch, then got the JOMW new video notification, and it was this watch! Good luck all
I compared the Boderry with the Bertucci field watches. I like what I see with the Boderry. It has a sapphire crystal and a better action with the Seiko NH35. The cost is $87.30 for the Boderry Voyager with nylon strap after the 10% discount for new sign ups at the Boderry site. I plan to order one later today. Unfortunately, there is no where I can go look at one where I am now living in the Philippines. So, I will order the Voyager before actually trying it on. If I don't like the way it wears, I know a lot of people here that would love to have it.
Not bad! I can see the value. They would make nice weekend watches. I'll go for the black dial version.
I bought one of these out of curiosity. I was surprised.... Great specs and came with 2 straps. Only complaint is the lugs are too wide. For the price I'm a fan!
Very nice to see a full Ti watch, and at this price. I already have a Bertucci, but this looks like the lume (on the black) is better
The boxes those come in are so so fun! What a nice change of pace, haha. Pretty solid looking watch especially for that price. Just looking at it in the video I'd guess it is at least around $200. Pretty wild what microbrands are able to achieve nowadays! That salmon dial is pretty good looking too. I'd definitely go with the black dial though, having anything but black dial on a field watch doesn't make much sense to me but to each their own! I definitely would have preferred them to make the lug to lug smaller and make the lug width smaller. Looks a little bit funky with such a big lug to lug and such a wide lug width. I am not the target customer though. As I get further and further in to the video the more confused I get on how in the hell they were able to do this and sell it for that low of a price. Well done by them.
Thank you for the review! Titanium makes it really light and durable, and the NH35 movement is accurate and reliable. Overall good value for the money if you are into field watches!
I am new in this world of watches and you keep me all the time open mouth watching for hours your simple and clear explanation about this wonderful world of watches . Thanks a lot for this presentation. I love the black dial and titanium bracelet excellent!!!❤
I do like this watch. The both the Black and white dial watches are just very legible and versatile to wear!
Really nice watch. Got this one already and I love how comfortable it wears - and the lume on mine is great …
I have just signed up to the newsletter. Jody, I’ve been after a decent field watch for ages. And this looks fantastic!
Great looking watch. Makes me wonder why Seiko etc. can't produce a watch with similar characteristics at the same price point. After all, this beauty has a Seiko movement in it. Boggles the mind!
Long time lurker! Have been watching your videos for a while now Jody. They've been super helpful, showing me that great watches don't need to be prohibitively expensive. Keep up the good work!
I've been spying field watches lately (always been a fan but end up buying divers) and this one looks great. I know I'm too late for the give away but went to the site and subscrto the newsletter and am now weighing my options from their offerings. Thanks Jody for continuing to bring interesting choices to our attention.
That's an amazing watch in general, but if you also consider the price, it's unbelievable how good it is! I got one with the NATO strap, and I am very satisfied with the overall quality and the functionality of the watch 👍! ! !
I like your complete reviews! Simple and easy to understand I really like to discovery those others brand, the pros and cons if Them also . Good job! THX!
I've seen a few other watches from this brand and feel they were over priced, nice to see a better price range especially in titanium, nice.
What is the brand and model? Can't see it anywhere in the title or description.
This looks pretty sweet. I wish it was 20mm lug width. My collection of straps is already pretty extensive and I don't really fancy having to start over and get some 22mm ones which will inevitably get mixed in with my 20mm. Having to play a guessing game checking widths when grabbing a strap to change doesn't sound fun. No thanks. But also so tempting... I could also do without the ships wheel. It looks good, but not fitting for the type of watch.
Signed up for their newsletter, and scanning the watches … reminds me of the old seiko 5s when they were about $90. I gifted them to friends and family, to get them into automatics.
I do own a bertucci I wear to work (resin case) but the titanium case and bracelet looks really good. Thanks for the review
I just love field watches. Readable, clean and durable. These new titanium Boderry look pretty promising, I especially like the black dial one with lumed numerals.
Great review. Just ordered the black dial no date with bracelet. Thanks Jody, love your work.
Ive been content with my Alba solar field watch, but Im thinking its time to add another one, the Boderry is such a nice looking and value watch
I’ve been wanting a beater field watch, but when Hamilton prices are just going up and up, for a poor watch enthusiast like me, this is definitely a consideration. Who knew… you did? Thanks.
Like always, thank you for the review on. This watch and sharing about a brand I was not aware. Thank you
These things look incredible value, very good specs for the proce and a good looking field watch too. Whats not to like
Thanks for the review! I considered a full titanium from another Chinese brand but I feel this one is superior to it!
What a watch, simple but timeless design. Look tough and field ready, thanks to the untouch titanium finish. It just simply stunning watch
Picked one of these up when they first came out. Ran great and became my daily watch. Bought the titanium band when it came out made the watch even nicer. After approx 6 months I got the famous second hand stutter between 1 and 3. After that it would just randomly stop running! Never heard back from the company. Moved on to an islander isl82.
Absolutely insane value! Thanks for putting them on my radar Jody.
When I signed up to the email newsletter I saw that they have a bronze version of this watch too! It's not as affordable, but it's still under $200 USD, which can't be too bad for a bronze watch! Plus the idea of a natural bronze patina has me very intrigued.

Good job Jodi. I like this watch. 12:42
Great video! Indeed, I am considering one of this field watches. The bronze ones looks amazing. Cheers.
Always good content. I have purchased several watches that were reviewed by you. Thanks!
I like to think you deliberately changed the date on the watch to the 4th so it completed the 1 to 12 numerically… very pleasing for those of us with mild OCD Jody, thank you.
I've never been a huge fan of 4pm date windows, but the specs definitely make it an interesting watch. I would be very interested in seeing how the bronze version of the Voyager ages. Would love to see you do a review of that if you're still enjoying this one on the wrist in a few weeks.
Loving the field watches and the dial on the dive watch really caught my eye!
Currently serving in the Army, I have been looking for a field watch that is simple and tough enough to handle actual 'field' environment. I think this watch will do! Perfect size and price. If I don't get to be one of lucky ones, I will still consider buying this one. Thanks for another informative vid. Blessings.
Well done Boderry for making something that looks incredible for the price! Big fan of the white dial in particular, think it pops against the duller appearance of titanium
The bertucci watch featured in this video is a great looking watch. I love that it's completely titanium.
Great value there, I would defenitely take one of these Boddery before a Bertucci.
