A three minute sequence of the full moon at night plus clouds loaded into the audiovisual synthesizer "Silhouette Eins". The synthesizer extracts and reads greyscale data (within the blue selection area line) and transforms it into audio.
The movement of the moon, the earth´s rotation and the clouds sound in tender changes in timbres in this drowny, meditative narration.
Due to its extreme dynamic please do not listen to the video with a mobile device or laptop speakers. Also do not listen in noisy places (supermarket, railway station, kindergarden,...).
Best with a good sound system or good headphones.
Me and other Silhouette users (my customers) now try to find concrete forms of audiovisual art pieces with the Silhouette Synthesizers that play with its possibilities, meanings and forms of audiovisual narration and dramaturgy. Therefor I think I´ll call them "Essays".
The pieces "moon 1 and 2" use a live-action movie but the "Silhouette Eins" can load many kinds of other files and input sources.
