Thanks for the advice mine has been recently bad too and I have watched only one of her videos

Why I watch: I like the paper shuffling, the clinking of the glass jars, the coins, the whisper mumbles, and the set. You don’t have any loud lengthy tapping noises that are so annoying to me that other amsrs put in their videos. I remember my grandmothers trying to do things around the house quietly while we kids took naps, and those sounds are comforting. I can close my eyes and think I’m at grandmas house on a summer afternoon.

I agree, it's all done so naturally, the ASMR comes from that for me too. I also love the little muttering to herself, it both reminds me of me when I'm pottering in the house and gives me great tingles

I always get excited when I get notifications that you have a new video. I'm a soapmaker as well as a fiber artist, so this apothecary ASMR just hit the right comforting spot. I love making salves and lotions and I love to pretend I am an alchemist. Your setup is perfect and so calming. Thank you. 💕

@@shamsunisahlagan it's a tincture, so that means it's a series of herbs immersed in high percentage alcohol to extract the properties of that particular herb. it's a process that typically takes a week or more, stored in a place without direct sunlight and frequent shaking. there's a philosophical/alchemical variant called spagyrics that was believed to be the proper method, and was used to maximize a plant's medicinal effects.

Can we also just appreciate those gorgeous bottles and tags? The sound of the fountain pen while she writes?!

Plantain, the king of handy healing herbs...! It made me very happy to see a familiar plant in this video. And it made me very happy to see the video itself! I love the apothecary videos, the sounds are just really crisp and delightful. Thanks for the compilation!

In spite of today’s advanced technologies and such, (ironically) I think the thing that draws me to these memorable era videos is actually a deep longing for society to return to more simplistic ways! I get so anxious about trying out anything creative like arts or crafts but watching you do it so soothingly helps me calm down and realize the whole point of doing it is to release some stress. I agree! It's winter down here and that Christmas wreath video inspired me to make my own wreath, dried orange slices, cinnamon sticks and all. No pine trees here so it's made out of various types of eucalyptus from down the river, I think it turned out pretty well. I have Diana to thank for the inspiration for sure.

I adore this woman, and her use of simple things.

I love the sounds the little blue jar makes both in the plantain part of the video and when its used for the charcoal part of the video. 💙 The sound the lid makes is amazing and the sound it makes when you tap/scrape the wooden tool against the rim of the jar is instant tingles.
