In every shot I’ve seen of you and Will at Twin Masks, there’s this sort of heavy, weight-of-the-world feeling in your expressions and demeanour, and it’s so impressive how much detail you both manage to convey about your characters without having to explain it.

You look stunning as Carnwennan (not that you don't always!) - she sounds like an incredible character and you're serving such Targaryen energy as her

The end gave me major friendship/LARP envy. I'm tearing up a little because I don't believe I'll be in California anytime soon to try this LARP. But it's the most inspiring and interesting one I've seen.

@@Azrai Fair enough :D It's just fun to see how communities connect. I'm german; a streamer that at the time was a Geek & Sundry chat moderator led me to Critical Role and from there the rest of G&S. I saw Bonnie on Shield of Tomorrow (A Star Trek game on G&S), and from there found Xander. And now he pops up here :D

Been looking into this larp for the last year. Unfortunately I had to move to NV in October, but I've been considering going back to the larp as a 'vacation' every other month. Its good to know they come to highly recommended. I knew from friends that they enjoyed the larp and it had a ton to offer, but I was afraid of the size vs. the location. After this video, I'm not so much anymore.

As someone who also lives in NV, I can tell you that it's very doable to get to Twin Mask :) I carpool with people, take my SUV, and it's not actually all that expensive! This next TM game will be my third time going and it's a short-ish drive

It's a secret group, but there's a Twin Mask Facebook group called "Twin Mask General Chat" I highly recommend joining that group and introducing yourself and then we can get you connected the Vegas crew :D game is much easier to get to when we all work together to get down there! Also check out twinmask.com for the rulebook and if you have any questions we have some wonderful staff members on the Facebook page who can help you out! It seems like an intimidating group cause of the size, but it's a really great community! See you on Facebook maybe and can't wait to see you at game!

This is the first video you’ve posted since I found your channel and it’s such a wonderful one! As always, beautifully produced and filmed, and with wonderful commentary. It was awesome to see Momo, Will, Kelly, and Phi featured as well, and a HUGE but very welcome surprise to see Xander! I kept thinking he looked like him but didn’t expect it to actually BE him until you mentioned it hahaha. Wonderful job as always, Cheyenne! Hope you have fun at Witcher School! I had no idea Xander was there and I got way too excited and briefly just like.. forgot to be excited about anyone else lol. He seems so cool and I totally want to be his friend lol (just added to the list of all the other really cool nerds I wish I could be friends with but haven't had the chance to actually interact with in order to establish said friendship). I went into Twin Mask knowing very few people and have several friends who went in knowing absolutely no one! It's 100% doable :D if you're thinking about coming and need help there's a Facebook group where you can post to meet people and make character ties before you jump in so that you have sort of a built-in friend group! Also, first event is free so all you need to do is get camping supplies, a costume (thrift stores are wonderful and Larp House and Larp Girl both have wonderful videos on making cheap costumes), food, and gas

AAAAAAA the second i saw kelly i was quaking

My boyfriend was the half celestial who was gifted the sword, Zachriel. He has had to take a break from game (work related) and the sword now sits with me, the half demon with the heavy chains who threatened your celestials, Key. It is still actively used in the game and has saved many people's lives as well as become a plot point for several characters. I am having to do some edits on it as some of the foam has not held up, but I am trying to keep the integrity and shape the same.

No, repairs are normal! Just the pommel came loose and so had to reattach that and rewrap the grip. Though I did trip with it last game and need to fix the tip because it tipped out. But that was my fault. (Was using the special ability so dropped to the ground at an odd angle while resurrecting someone with it.)

How hard was it to interact with the game since you only planned to go once? Knowing the campaign I play in, a lot of the fun I experience comes from relationships I've forged over the last year of gaming with them so I'm curious to know. Did you feel like an outsider to all the overarching plot stuff happening or was the self-contained episodic experience of that one weekend satisfying? I'd love to go play with Twin Mask some day but as I currently live in Utah it means I would likely go for just one game and probably not go back for a long time (if ever).

AceiLyn Brown I found the episodic approach extremely satisfying! We got to make a difference in someone’s character, that they make take with them for their whole story. However, we did write our characters with that as the intent! It may have been quite different if we’d tried to jump in without a plan.
