An AMAZING day of Creek Fishing!! 3 Black Bass species

Ойын-сауық

So for my Saturday I was planning on being a helpful sibling and help my brother move into his new apartment. At about 1 pm plans had changed and the rest of my day opened up. It took about 15 minutes to decide to drive an hour away to explore a new creek i had been wanting to get to for some time. What happens in the video turned out to be one of the most exciting and enjoyable days of creek fishing I have had.

man what a whopper outta that little creek! I remember exploring all the creeks around my place when I was a young 'un.. Some of the greats times of my life have been spent on christy creek between creswell and cottage grove Oregon.. a beautiful waterfall and some real nice cutthroat trout.. We do not get lot of bass up here in the pacific northwest like you do down south.. But we do have 'em.. thanks for the share and carry on!

Great video John! I watched this a few hours after coming back home from Cleveland. I did manage to catch a nice Red Breast sunfish, and one Spotted bass on Sunday. Man! that Rock Bass was a chunk! It's not every day that you see one like that. In my opinion the Rock Bass or Redeye is one of the most under-appreciated gamefish. They fight hard, bite aggressively, and seem to come out of nowhere to take a variety of baits. I am always pleasantly surprized to catch them. You got some really nice Bass here too, and that big one and the Smallmouth was the"icing on the cake".....Thumbs Way Up!!!!!

Seriously, How cool is it to go explore one of God's creations like that, a creek that you have never explored, lose a nice fish, stick a 3.5 pound largemouth, see those deer like you did...and fish water that you've never fished before??!!! And...I bet you stopped somewhere on the way home and got some tacos didn't you!!! LOL..... Thank you for posting this...great vid, probably ranks in your top five thus far.

Beautiful healthy spotted bass! Those bigger redbreasts must have been fun! I could just imagine that largemouth during nesting season! And WTG with that rock bass! My PB is 10 inches 13 ounces. Bigger bluegills prefer lakes, ponds, and sluggish waters while redbreasts prefer creeks, rivers, streams, and lakes and pond with enough current. I've caught big bluegills out of lakes and ponds, while most of the redbreasts I've caught have come from smaller rivers and small lakes that have a river flowing through. Redbreasts are common catches whenever I'm fishing a medium sized river for smallmouths.
