I miss the Leviathan class as a whole. They are such a cool group of monsters that take full advantage of the environment they inhabit. Whether that be water or lava, Leviathan monsters were an amazing addition to Monster Hunter Tri.

21 years of life, 15 years of saying this phrase, but only today did I learn how to spell it

Did anyone else notice that there were 2 of them? 1 went to send the herd fleeing and the other was waiting under the choke point, that's why we have 2 beaks on screen on some frames.

It would have been _so much better_ to get Agnaktor instead of friggin' Lavasioth for World. I miss the clacky lazer beam boi.

World I can understand because the new engine broke all the Leviathans, but Rise/Sunbreak is what really confuses me. Not only did they fix most Leviathans, but they even had Uroktors in the Lava Caverns! Seemed like the perfect setup for Agnaktor to return but instead we get Magma Almudron, who I don’t hate as a monster but just… _Why no Agnaktor?_

​@andrewcrowley6331 leviathans did not actually get fixed Mizu and Alma have different skeletons so their bellies don't drag on the ground and Ludroth actually switches into said skeleton when doing specific movements around the map

@@andrewcrowley6331 Agnaktor probably would have broken the Wyvern Riding mechanic, and its existing skeleton wouldn't have played nice with the terrain since there's so many contact points. Pretty sure that's why Auroracanth and Magmadron exist; the team probably really wanted Agnaktor to work (or else they wouldn't have added in Uroktor), but they may have run into the same problems as Lagiacrus did in World.

Just imagining 20+ agnaktors in one area and they set up their magma lasers at the same time will be both sooo amazing and chaotic for any hunters

I love how they failed to get their prey, its realistic to how most predators fail on many of their hunts

I still hear that click clack of its beak in my nightmares……great monster but the first one I ever hunted decided to hang about in my blindspot and beam sweep me

I’d honestly love for Agnaktor to have a Daimyo Hermitaur-esque attack where he tries to bite you from below. And the final time is when he actually comes out of the ground spiraling.

It's cool because Kuarusepusu, the monster who was basically Agnaktor's scrapped design, actually appears in pairs in Frontier

I don't know why this bothers me but I find it odd that rhenoplos runs like a dog. I'ts a very heavy built animal, surely it would trot the same way a rhino would, alternating which leg is in front to create a seamless gate at fullspeed, rather than a lunging jumping gate a wolf or cat would have. Still a lovely animation though!

I think they're tryna figure out how to place them with the current environments that we get in new gen mh, the reason why they weren't in Worldborne was cause they got stuck in awkward ass places and bugged out, and I guess even with Rise bringing a lot back and new ones, its not perfect
