AN AFFAIR TO REMEMBER | Stephanie Trick & Paolo Alderighi
Музыка
This melody is the theme song of a famous Hollywood love story, “An Affair to Remember,” which came out in 1957 featuring Deborah Kerr and Cary Grant. Written by Leo McCarey, Harold Adamson, and one of the great songwriters of Hollywood, Harry Warren. Warren wrote primarily for Hollywood - as opposed to his fellow songwriters, who largely wrote for Broadway - and prolifically so, as his songs are in over 300 films. A little background on the lyricists: McCarey was a director and screenwriter as well and directed films like “Duck Soup,” “Going My Way,” and “The Bells of St. Mary’s.” Adamson was a lyricist of songs like “Everything I Have Is Yours,” “Time on My Hands,” and even the theme song for “I Love Lucy.”
We just recently adapted our two-piano version of this tune to one piano and we hope you enjoy it.

You somehow evoked cinema just by the style of your playing. Remarkable empathy and musical intelligence. Beautiful work
What a beautiful rendition of this song ❤
Beautiful !
That must be the most gentle ballad that I have ever heard you two play and so very different from your up tempo dazzling jazz virtuosic barn storming numbers. It shows what a range you tow have.
Top team😘👍👍
Amazing guys!! Thanks for your music!!
Oh that's what this song is called! Thanks for finally clearing up that little mystery (and for giving us all such a wonderful version of it)
Great variation! Love to you both.
Sounds perfect, your music expresses such beauty, thanks to both of you 👋🌹
Wonderfuly. I love your entire music and your style.
As your two hand approach evolves and develops, I can definitely detect elements of counter point and fugue, which is remarkable when applied to what most perceive as pop tunes. Your approach re-interprets these pieces into something that transforms the music....pushing the boundaries of the form. I suppose that is what jazz and any form of improvisional modes attempt...but what you are doing takes it to a different level....don't know if most can really appreciate the challenge this presents...but you two are definitely up to the task.
WOW!!! How absolutely beautiful!!! I love your piano playing music magic!!! 🤩 Lots of love from Gene in Tennessee.
This is the third wonderful arrangement I heard you play of this lovely, moving song! Each time, I think you can’t possibly match the beauty of your previous arrangement, you do just that!! So lovely. Thank you😊😊
very nice. you find new sounds?
