I think I've figured out the weird pace issue, was paying just night and realised all players have running styles , and defence seem to all have the controlled or lengthy running style which means it takes them a long time to build up to a full run... Hope this helps everyone

I second this, I feel the best way to defend is to look for the passing options and prevent them by cutting off the lanes

Anyone telling him to change difficulty coz it's too easy will be same ones crying when he looses games, bruh, real talk, concentrate on ya own career modes and leave this guy to have fun and if your a real subscriber or fan of Matt you will enjoy it with him, if not go watch someone else, you ask for short vids then moan there too short, then ask for long vids and cry there too long, like wtf have your lifes come to, keep up the good content matt, and thanks for you videos buddy

While play with a 3cb It could help to set both wingers get in behind and support defending. It would appear to be 5 at back and would join the attack in transition. High/high work rate of the our players would make it easier for them to be effective.

I'd be curious to try the playable highlights with a longer match time...

So far in my career mode my only big issue is when I send a clear through ball on goal my player receiving the ball will stutter and give time for CB's to catch up or the pass is so weak and does not go where it's clearly marked. If they could just fix that ill be happy.

Hey Matt, you could try Vieira more on the left at times to put ESR centrally. Just a thought.

To Fix the defence problem you can't have the game speed on slow, just change that and the defenders will react quickly.

The gameplay is broken. The AI is so bad. You concede so much and you can score whenever you want. Games all end with scores like 5-3…

One thing I dislike about fifa is the amount of pens which are saved, irl you get around 80% scored yet in fifa in feels like you/the ai have a better chance of saving it than you/the ai scoring. You even save it when it’s in the side netting too corner.

The problem with your defence is that your putting them in a very high line. Decrease the high line let's say to 40 or 50 the I'm sure your defensive problems will be solved otherwise when a counter attack hits you you would probably be conceding 6

Sloe speed is bugged at the moment, players don't run. Also you need to increase the marking to at least 60-80 as the space on default is insane

Turn off analog sprint and also up acceleration to 52, seems to have fixed it for me. best of luck.

Hi guys. I am thinking about buying FIFA 23, but I play carrer mode only. Do you think its worth buying it for carrer mode only? Is it much better then FIFA 22 in terms of carrer mode experience? If you are only thinking to buy the game for just career mode I will say do not buy it. It is still in an unfinished state plus nothing has changed in Career mode except for some few cutscenes and animations If that can make Career mode exciting I have no idea.Better to play FIFA 22 with lots of FIFER Mods EEP Mods Gameplay Mods etc.Regarding Hypermotion AI I am not convinced that the gameplay has got a drastic change.I bought it due to Pro Clubs tournaments.Wait for few more months until the price gets reduced and the game will get few patches and in a stable state. If you are a PS5 User on the other hand maybe you should coz MODS are not in 22 for consoles I guess

you have to stop putting your CBs out of position when defending on the wing, when you do that it leaves you with too few players inside the box

Think you got the sliders the wrong way round on shot error, you went down instead of up , ie 65 is less on target 43 is more on target. Iv had to change the sliders to make it more playable. Since you changed yours mate it's all gone silly lol .

Should of kept martanailli at st and put tiernay on the left instead of taking tierney off for Eddie

Much slower, I personally am having a hard time with through balls being intercepted every time, on top of my quicker players not being able to turn quickly to get past opponents
