  Might just me but would they not be better off playing 3 at back? back three?? There is no way player like trent should be on the bench.   Given the LB issue I just find it baffling we don't play 3 CBs and wing backs. With Saka as a LWB we would be way more of a threat down that side and Bellingham will drift out there anyway. It would allow Stones to step out as he does for City with cover from both Guehi and Walker. It would mean we could play Toney/Watkins alongside Kane which allows him to drop deeper and get involved in the play because there's another striker actually running in behind... Then you still get Bellingham/Rice/Mainoo in the middle

  Someone needs to remind Southgate that he has a bench of players who can change a game 😢. For me, it’s his reluctance to change tactics or make a sub which frustrates me. Was the same last tournament.

  i had this idea in my head were england play gengenpressing with a 4-1-2-1-2 where the backline stays the same and in the midfield mainoo dm, rice and bellingham cm, foden cam, and then kane at striker and sakka as a center foward let me know what u think
