Such a talent gone way way way too soon 😭 she really feels the music and becomes the embodiment of what she’s performing. It’s insane! She was so damn talented

Absolute fearlessness in her voice. She takes so many chances that few other singers would attempt. And she she never goes sharp or flat. Just born to sing.

She was fantastic. I can't believe she's gone... God bless you, AMY.

I think she did, just differently from what we commonly mean. Search for a video of her talking about Dinah Washington. That's how good she understood music and could create new one. Of course knew that much. Just, for some people that's useless knowledge.

My one regret is I never got to see her perform live. She was an amazing singer.

Every now and again, I come back to Amy's videos, and after watching for awhile I start thinking of what could have been. Then, I continue watching this, and her other videos, and I'm so thankful for all that was.

Jesus... Her singing is so different here compared to the record. She almost entirely improvised this on the spot and not a single note was off! I can't improvise even a few notes around Happy Birthday melody without sounding completely tone deff!! Her "feel" for melody was out of this world.

That's exactly what you said. She feels the music, because she really has her deepest feelings. She moves a lot, as we can see in the video, because it's basically the emotion of music overflowing into the material world. That's why I love watching her lives, she does this in almost every live

Amy Winehouse was great in any environment. I came late to the party & oh do I wish she were still with us.

Can you just imagine the pressure that now 5 times Grammy winner Amy felt before millions watching and Nelson there too in her native city of London it was her moment to claim back her image and potential ...and she did!! it was a great performance despite the early signs of lung emphysema.

It wasn't her "moment to claim back her image and potential", this was pretty much during the peak of her struggles with addiction and mental health. The day after this concert she headlined Glastonbury where her performance made headline news due to her heavily intoxicated state and, now famously, punching a man in the face after he grabbed her boob. I remember watching the performance live on the BBC and 14 year-old me was very shocked when it happened. I remember watching this concert live too and I know you're probably a big fan, so am I, but this was not Amy at her best, to say so is just deluded - she stumbled multiple times, forgot lyrics and sang out of key. All of which is understandable considering how ill she was, both mentally and physically. Her management and family should never have let her perform, she needed urgent care, but money talks I suppose.

Well I think u may have been a little bit off the mark here. She sang her heart ❤️ out alright. Had exceptional talent for her mixed jazz, swing, big band & pop music style She crafted all by herself. I had to tell you if Amy really sang her ' truth ' people would have been gobsmacked. Ouch...& I'm kind of happy she didn't. Deserving to be remembered for the amazing talented artist that she really was..🥰
