Imagine writing these songs about something that’s really hard and having to sing it over and over it’s clearly is still an open wound for her

I did everything I could not to listen to her after she died. It was like an spike in my heart. This is the first time I'm hearing her, and it's just like yesterday.

She had to sing a 'safe' version on stage ... it sucks to have your song butchered like that and then have to sing it on top of that.

having to relive this pain over and over, she was way stronger than people gave here credit for. all just for us.

this is a girl in extreme pain...godspeed life was too much and she is but an angel now. Incredible artist

you can hear in her voice during "love is a losing game" that she was trying not to cry... it gets me every time

She tired of singing this song, you can heard that and pain in her voice, her eyes.. She wanted make a new album, she wanted singing new and happy things. Cruel industry didn't allow that.

Actually no she wanted those songs on that album in fact for the . Tears dry on their own was actually more slower and sad but they wanted more upbeat songs so we got the one we know and and wake up alone was actually Slow tempo .. Amy wrote these songs . She even said her next album was gonna be the same like the last one guy she died before she could make it . She wrote these songs from her heart and past relationships .. it was kinda her brand

June 2021 listening to one the most unique and beautiful voices I have ever heard. I love Amy Winehouse and always will. How very special she was. So pure, raw and so much emotion in every song. So thankful for all the videos but wish Amy was still here. Died so very young, so sad

Still can't watch Amy perform live without crying. Such an untimely loss, so much talent and beauty in one person. Even through the drugs and alcohol, she can feel her emotions with 50x the intensity of most people. It's not the substances that killed her, it was the undeniable cruelty of the world and her sensitivity. I wish she was alive so bad, I really miss her. Thank you for uploading this

Amy is a cautionary tale of a beautiful , sensitive soul scarred by the world and though she tried to find release in drugs and alcohol, she was also bulemic. Even after she stopped the drugs, drinking and eating disorder, the damage to her heart and liver was irreparable, she died because her body was weak and damaged, her heart stopped. She wasn't drunk and didn't O.D. It pisses me off cause she had all these ppl around her yet none loved her enough to help her or care that she was in pain and destroying herself, they only saw her as a meal ticket. She was distancing herself from those toxic people and making amends with the friends who really loved her, caught a flight home , spoke to them ( the two girl friends) that night and was supposed to meet them the following day and dies that night from heart failure. So guys ..it was ultimately the eating disorder that killed Amy.
