I’m 23 next year and Amy Winehouse is my favorite singer and she has been since November 2023 when I found out a teacher at my weekly Art Class looks exactly like Amy Winehouse I was only around 8 years old when she died . I would’ve turned 9 years old that December back in 2011 This December I’ll be 22 years old

Her songs where not just masterpieces they where also vents that nobody paid attention too..

Most pop singers with this much recognition have tons of staged choreography, sequenced tracks, stage props, light shows....Amy just constantly fixes her hair and does these little hand gestures and we all drool; that's the sign of a true raw talent Queen.

10 years later i still can't get over how beautiful she looks here..

She looks like she came from the 60's era. she had great stage presence and a unique way of performing. she was never boring. she also looked like she didn't have to try to be something she wasn't. she seemed real. the way she dressed was cool. her voice has a sadness to it, a deep pain inside. creative minds are able to take their pain and turn them into art. she had that talent. sad that she passed away. only here for a short amount of time on this earth, yet she made such a lasting impact

It’s unbelievable how she can sing outstandingly all the way through 2007 despite everything she went through especially that year with Blake going to jail and the amount of harassment she received from the press, just because her addiction got the best of her in the end doesn’t mean she wasn’t strong, she was an extremely strong woman.

I’ve always adored Amy and although it’s very hard to choose just one, I must say that if I had to, this would have to be my favorite live performance of hers. It’s perfection through and through. It all came together. Her stage presence, the set, the lighting, the wicked style, the hair and make-up, the killer vocal and stellar performance both presented with an effortless delivery and in your face confidence. This was/is ICONIC. So is the soul who embodied it. Her absence still breaks my heart. May she forever Rest In Peace.

To see her smile at the end of that performance was so beautiful
