Let's take a quick break from brooding over how hurt and troubled and disturbed she was and just remember and appreciate how gorgeous, adorable, silly, funny, unique, caring, sweet, creative, talented and simply amazing in every way she was. Her legacy is so much than an alcoholic heart broken woman who was misunderstood. She was just a wonderful person and by far one of the best artists I have ever heard in my entire life. She is Amy fuckin Winehouse, the one and only.
In the Era I grew up in, alcoholism and drug abuse were not stigmatized like they are today. People were just coping with their problems. Psych meds were virtually non existent in the 60's and 70's.

It's been twelve years from now that we tragically lost the wonderful and talented Amy Winehouse. It still touches me every single time when I read or hear about her death. She was an amazing artist and performer of Jazz and Soul music. From her first Album 'Frank' to her world selling record 'Back to Black' she showed us her genius every single time, with her jazzy and flexible voice and her incredible and unique sound. Amy Winehouse was simply a true talent and a wonderful human being. Throughout her life she donated her money, music and time to many charities, as CARE, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Save the Children, Save the Music Foundation and Nelson Mandela Children's Fund, to just name a few. Even when her time on earth was short, with her timeless music Amy Winehouse inspired many of the top selling artist who are in the charts right now. And also millions of fans, like me. Thank you Amy.

+gm pm Its like haunting, once you listen to her voice, you can't stop. She is incredible.. She went through pretty tough times, if anyone haven't watch her documentary "Amy 2015" you should really see it. In my opinion it was suicide because she wasn't getting any better or she wasn't trully happy without alcohol, ( i totally understand her)she was off for 2 years from other drugs but she kept drinking that poison, she knew she would die after drinking that much. She didn't even wanted to be famous. Just art, her songs are true gift to us, it made her feel better sometimes writing about her emotions and singing, a true talent Rest in peace angel, you will not be forgotten.

I as a musician feel she was the real deal. Her vocal improv for her jazz charts was just pure legend. Kindness emanated from her very soul, and so much joy came through in her music. She had originality and she was such a musician. It hurts all of us, but her life is a lesson to all of us to keep going on and getting help when we need it. Either way between a semi abusive father and druggie friends she had a hard life towards the end. She wanted to escape it as fame ate her life way. She did so much for music that we can now finally see.

The preciousness of time and life. Unforgiving time and circumstances. Amy became a part of our lives and she's forever gone now, no longer directly affecting the energies associated with things understood and felt. Indirectly her echo and residual energy blows on our ears like a soft sound and shines faintly on our draining soul's hourglass..moving to and fro...like everything she too must dim as time goes..a dying star. Amy was a light before we all saw how bright she was. A brief glimpse of her flash, a distant memory, dust in the cosmos. We all are everything..she was everything..-CDH

As she things her whole soul is trembling, her fragile body is shaking, and she with her most beautiful voice and bright mind reflects the deepest pain a human can ever feel. Lost love... As she playes with her voice, the notes she hits, that great talent couldn't be inherent without the pain... U feel that in every performance she creates sthing new she never sings tge song twice the same, so it's not a routine event for her to sing, she every fuckin' time creates the song from her heart, and I see that every single time her heart beats there in front of the audience. U can even imagine how she loved that man she sings of... This is what called talent, but I call it raw and pure clarity of mibd and heart, and a beautiful voice+an enormuous amoubt of energy put out their to produce sthing...

A true talent with her own unique style and sound. Like Janis Joplin and Judy Garland, all reaching out for love, understanding and someone to care. Music like this is a beautiful, artful, dynamic and captivating cry for help. It's their only way to express how they feel. When you hear her speak between sets, she's not very articulate about what she's saying...but when she sings, we all understand.

A true "Artist" no one but Amy sounds like Amy. Emotion in her singing is unparalleled by anyone alive or dead, her brutally honest lyrics relatable to everyone. Her sound is always different each time she sings, she said she did this for her fans but also herself, it kept her from getting bored singing the same songs over and over. The most uninteresting aspect of her life was her struggles with alcohol, drugs and bulimia. She had her own sound which she described as jazz/hip hop, she was always leading never following and never compromising her art. She wrote and sang her songs the way she thought people would enjoy them . Her sound is totally addictive, she makes Taylor Swift and Beyonce sound like over processed fast food music. RIP Amy Jade Winehouse.

Such a tragic loss. She really was just incredible. I think better than most people even realize. She never had the chance to get as good as she would have been. Without having to actually name anyone by name she is better than just about any of the so called singers out there today. She would have gone on to be one the Best!!
Just watched the documentary. I don't know why but it really, really stuck with me. It bothers me even. It's hard to describe. I never met or knew this person but I'm genuinely sad for. It's sad that she's gone. She was a staggering talent, a genius I'd say. I really hope she's somewhere peaceful. She will live on, the music is wonderful. She was too.

I miss her. Amazing woman.

So sad that often what drives an artist to greatness is a great melancholy, that great sadness and the passion that goes along with it can be heard in this song a great deal.
Such a GREAT AND GIFTED YOUNG DIVA ! So many pain in this song and his beautiful voice ! We miss you DIVA

Legend
Can't watch this without a tear. So good, Amy. So good.

Autopilot. She's on autopilot. The million mile stare speaks so many more volumes than just a woman with a drinking problem. I return to this specific live version often. It brings so many tears of sadness, but tears of appreciation to such talent at the same time.

I love this performance so much!!!
She is one of the greatest singers .. miss you!
all of her live performance videos give me chills. regardless of her life choices, she was never afraid to pour out her emotions. she always relives the memories that led to each song when she performs them.
almost five years since my favorite artist has passed away and its still so hard to comprehend that she is not here with us anymore..we love you Amy
Even the wailing bits are in tune, and perfectly, and beautifully unique.

Miss ya kid. You will always be with us through your music.
I wish she was still here. I missed ❤this amazing voice.
Someone is well and truly in the very uppermost echelon of their craft when even those who don't especially gravitate towards it can recognize and appreciate their talents. I was never particularly a fan of Amy Winehouse or her style of music but sometimes I'll watch one of her videos just for a change and I never fail to be astounded by her talents and performances. She was simply amazing!
Я заплакала слушая именно эту запись. Трогает до глубины ❤Люблю тебя, Эми

Это будет так смешно после смерти Путина. Смотреть, как 140 миллионов россиян целуют его голую мертвую задницу.
I love you Amy. Miss your amazing style and soulful voice. Rest in peace Bella
