Panterasp: I have been following stuff about Jimmy fallon to do with his attempt at overthrow of Leno. (lol only half kidding) and I was SHOCKED to realize that he was born in 1974 so is almost 40 too. I joke about Leno being overthrown by the SNL cast but the truth of the matter is these two being in their 40s is why Leno needs to work to let Fallon give it a try and hopefully succeed. Also, Jimmy needs to be given the show all to himself and NBC needs to highly encourage Jay to give up his dream job. I feel bad for Jay and yet I want to encourage Fallon to blossom. He is talented and funny and cute and engaging and I think he could become a professional host in due time. I know he has his 11:30 show and I have enjoyed that. I think the biggest shift for people will be seeing him more regularly hosting older celebrities as a younger guy. I even thought about it with w. smith this week
