This made me more interested in Neil Postman's work. It sparked an interest and I have now read the book and watched interviews with him.
Great description of a brilliant book! Another of Postman’s publications well worth reading is Technopoly, a surrender of culture to technology. Still very relevant to our current social predicament. 2020 seems like the tip of the iceberg as regards to the affects of social media & internet platforms on social discourse & human nature in general. Thanks dude!
Good to know that his thoughts are still absorbed around the world.. :)
We live in a 7 second sound bit / click bait headline society now. How can we possibly glean any meaningful knowledge or wisdom from this format?

I would say, many ways.
LITERALLY, you've helped me understand the book in a 5 minute video. so so helpful thank you so much. I read the book and i was so bored and i personally found the book so boring and i barely understood it. but you helped me understand the overall theme and thesis of the book. thank you so much x Already subscribed

There is a profound, unknown irony in this post. You exhibit Postman's thesis w/o knowing it.

Good review!
About to read the book
Watch his lectures! Brilliant and relevant!
Beautiful gorgeous eyes
Very informative. Also, you're cute! I should pick up this book.
Hey, Jordan B Peterson talks about this alot. Suppose you video was three years ago! I'd say its changing now, people are wanting and needing longer form discussion. And we are getting it through, podcasts, long form debates etc so hoping people are waking a little
