I worked for Amtrak October 1997-November 2002 Onboard Services. Started on AutoTrain Lorton VA then Washington DC only worked Train 29/30 a few times by that time 29/30 Was Superliner Equipment. From 6:30-6:47 sounds like Winnie one of the conductors that worked 29/30

Before 9-11 Amtrak and Via where both supplying equipment to the International. Usually a Via F40 was with Amtrack cara and vise versa.

@@trnwatcher Why did they stop after 9/11? Was Amtrak paranoid VIA could be in bed with al-Qaeda?

@@Trainlover1995 Homeland Security did not want to expend the resouces to clear everyone at the border crossing between Port Huron and Sarnia so basically Amtrak\Via were forced to cut the train off at Port Huron. No more through service to Toronto.
