Great review! I just got this kit and I'm a little disappointed that my tires do not have all the white lettering as these in the review. Mine do have the Goodyear logo, but that's all. I see this video is 8 years old so they may have stopped doing all the lettering in the years since. Oh well. That's life

I am a huge Camaro fan. I love the 68 and 69 models years. Great review. The tires...seeing those "60's" reminds me of the days when you had 60s you were sporting some performance tires. No the ratio is as low as 35. Beautiful car, great review!

A very good review. I especially compliment your ability to speak clearly and on subject. Many could learn from your approach to know what you wish to say and not stumble with "ahs" and "uhs", (which really loses my attention).

It all depends on the kit, some are great, some have issues. I've never come across a kit that is so bad that it can't be built in a few days. Enjoy!

Just came across this video, cool kit, I've probably build it 30 or 35 years ago. As for the parts review I got to correct you on the engine fan. That's actually the way the fan looked on the real car. It's the Hi Performance 7 blade fan used on Z/28, SS350, SS396 and COPO 427 Camaros.

Had one of the first generation of this kit when I was young. Just picked up one of the new run kits dirt cheap still in the wrapper to do with my son to maybe get him into model building. By the way ,the fan is supposed to be like that. They actually built some real fans like that back in the day. I also build and restore real cars so I love this as a hobby.

I just picked that kit up, last week. Dis not know this kit was out so long by Round2. Which , I am only at the 1:04 point of the video. I went over the part of Round2 buying all these companies. I for one, don't know if it is such a good thing. Wouldn't that mean one company has the say of what we build, what they make / or NOT make. I would like to see some smaller companies make some outstanding kits. Yes it takes money, but do believe it will force Round 2 to come up with more. Competition is good for growth , Right now where is the force that makes model companies come up with something diff. The diff will generate sales, and new ideas. It's nice to come out with older, popular but then the originals will loose value. New adventure, new ideas. Now to watch the rest . Just finished watching. The tires, exactly what I was saying, one company hits a home run, should make the other companies step it up. SO get with it , you know who you are. Nice kit, I have it, about 2 weeks now, Ready to build it, STOCK. I wish there were more options, a diff motor, bench seat for two. Happy modeling builders. Love the old amt kits just wish they could repop the less common subjects i.e. 67-69 thunderbirds etc, but i still think revells 69 nova kit is one of their best kits they have made in the last 10 years or so...

Same here. The front of the chassis is a little warped. A little cutting bending and re gluing, I lightly glued the interior to the body, then clamped the chassis to the body to dry, all straight, no more worries. Its all part of modeling.
