I got mine couple of weeks ago and I'm satisfied with it, nevertheless, has a lack of many details. The one thing we need to keep in mind is that the primary product AMT is selling is a speedy/dragster car, so many details are omitted to achieve the "wild spirit" of the car for that purpose. I'm not a mustang fan but this year 1966 model, has something magic that catches me (that was the justification I gave my wife after buying the model), and I think it was pretty convincing as she went her way totally in peace 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂. Thanks so much for showing this kit. i have been looking for one that has the white stripes. i think this is the only one i have seen with white stripes. like the other person said these kits are going for 30.00 bucks now so i hate buying one and not getting what you want. so thanks again for the info.

I belive the tooling for this body became the Altered Wheel Base Funny Car tool. If I build one of these, it will get inner fender wells and chassis from an AMT 67 Mustang as this chassis looks like the kit designer only knew about GM chassis. Same guy did the 66 notchback Mustang and the 68 GT500. So the cost to build will double.
