Thanks for the review. I have a couple of these and find there are some pros and cons with the kit. It is a fairly simple build and I like that it has decent engine where as some of the 250 models don't have any at all. The tires are awful no matter what you do with them, you do get another set of wheels, grille etc, that do not have the toy like chrome applied so that is nice, and I really like the 250 SWB shape but on this model it just doesn't look like the proportions have been caught accurately however I still like the finished kit. I think the Esci and Ertl may be the same kit and they are quite economical. If you want a really nice Ferrari 250, although not a SWB, get the Fujimi kit which IMO is excellent, but considerably more money. Cheers!

This kit was released in 1989, it isn't *that* old but certainly no recent pressing either. The actual car débuted in 1953 which was quite a long time ago! The Ferrari 250 GT is a very uncommon sight in the car modeling hobby, when was the last time you saw one built up? I'd like to snag me a copy of this kit for myself, shouldn't be difficult. Happy modeling!

I haven’t seen one built. Everyone always goes for the GTO instead. I looked for a long time for this model. I like some of these classic grand touring cars.
