Anais Lacombe it is awesome! The countryside was great!
You should go to Utrecht, it's in the middle and it's a bit like Amsterdam, but I guess it's more a city for people who actually live in the Netherlands. So that's very fun for foreign people.

This is definitely one of the best videos of Amsterdam I've ever seen. Good job! I was born and raised in The Netherlands, but I now live in New Jersey (close to NYC) for school. It's funny bc I actually like Amsterdam better than NYC. I'm moving back to Amsterdam in July. Next time you visit Amsterdam you should visit the Amsterdam Dance Event. It's one of the biggest dance events in the world. It's for 5 days in Oktober. I know everything about the dance music industry and I'll be working there, so I would love to tour you guys around.
Hey guys! A dutchie here;) I would say the Anne Frank-huis and the Rijksmuseum are worth a visit. And there's the Vondelpark, the van Gogh museum, the royal palace, Artis. Frankly there's too much to see and do to pack into one video;) Also, you guys might find a visit to The Hague to be interesting. It's the political capital of the country and is also referred to as 'the legal capital of the world', because there are all kinds of international courts based there. And, like Amsterdam and Rotterdam, it has a rich history. For example there is more than one royal palace (not all are inhabited today). Also, thumbs-up to you guys for the way the video's are put together. It's easy and fun to watch, and actually makes me want to go visit some of the places you guys have been;) Keep up the good work!
I can understand that if you're not from the Netherlands, the bycicle lane can be a traumatising experience!
Thanks so much! You guys are awesome. I'm heading to Amsterdam and London for the second time next month and I'm glad to turn to you guys for help.

If you come back to the Netherlands make sure to come to Utrecht. It's a little bit smaller than Amsterdam but it's officially the most beautiful canal city in the world. Especially in the summer is the atmosphere super chilled in the city!!

Loved this portrayal of Amsterdam, and how you make the videos so interesting and light hearted! Definitely trying to implement this into mine
You guys never disappoint: another great Vagavideo! You get the shots, hit the hot spots, and talk with the cool people. Watch out, though....you two are becoming pretty cool too....not to mention movie stars!
Have been living there and 2 of my children are born there but I am been living in sweden now for many years . It brings back so many memories close to the ferries my daughter is born on a barge , we where shipping molasses and Amsterdam was our home port . Many times we moored behind the central station .
You guys never disappoint! Another great video!! I feel like I learned so much about Amsterdam!! Looks like you guys had fun! Thanks for sharing!! :)
Well done. Most of my videos take place in Amsterdam. You guys did it justice. Cinemates are doing great work too. Next time maybe check out some of the modern architecture popping up throughout the city. Happy travels.

Great video guys, too bad I didn´t run into you! ;) I hope next time you come it will be in spring/summer so you can experience the vibe that amsterdam has when the weather is good, I feel like the city, just as the flowers, really blooms at that time! People are happier, friendlier, more relaxed and more outgoing. The terraces are filled with people and lots of people spend their time in the public parks drinking some beers/wine, socializing, listening to music, BBQing, reading, tanning and even studying for exams. I´m sure you´d enjoy it! :)

I love Amsterdam, it has to be my favorite city so far! And that's not only because I live half an hour away. I'm also a big fan of the Cinemates so I loved this video :) You guys are pretty good actors btw! When you come back you should check out "het Rijksmuseum" and the Anne Frank house if you haven't done that already. And just look for some more "gezellige" bars. There are lots of them ;)
Amsterdam has some world class musea, i could easily name twenty that are more than worth a visit. But be aware that there are also some 'popular' themed musea that are pretty rubbish. Another thing to do on your first visit to Amsterdam is to take a guided tour of the canals. It is a very relaxing way to see some of the most beautiful parts of Amsterdam. If you have done all that, don't worry, there is always more to see, just ask anyone who knows the city. Finally, my favorite area in Amsterdam is the east bank of the Amstel river, especially the part south of the famous Amstel Hotel. It's a lovely area for a (romantic) walk with plenty of lovely bars and restaurants. Ow yes, almost forgot, when there you have to try stroopwafels.

Awesome video guys! You really succeeded in capturing the Netherlands as they are, besides all the obvious things that have been shown a thousand times already. Make sure when you come back to try some more local beers (they're really great) and maybe visit the outer parts of the city center, where you can find all the 'gezellige' cafés Kelvin was talking about.

I really love 's-Hertogenbosch. It's in the south of the Netherlands in a province called Noord-Brabant. It's the provence's capitol and it has the vibe of a small town whilst being a large city. Tell me if you want to visit, I can show you around!
Love Amsterdam ! I've been there twice in the last 2 years . It's a very friendly and comfortable city .

Amsterdam is fantastic. I was there last fall. I would suggest sleeping outside the red light district (Red light district our the inner canals) and walk there to party, smoke, drink, etc... What's one of my favorite places to visit. I would fly to Berlin and Prague since you're there. it's only a cheap $60 flight away. Happy travels.

Mitch Nuñez Then you really want to make sure your hotel, hostel, or Air bnb is out of the red light district. Clubs don't close until 4am - 5am, so you may not be able to sleep if you're next one. No worries. :)

The pannekoeken (pancakes) both savory and sweet. Indonesian food everywhere. The Van Gogh Museum-yes! Bars where only the locals go. Love hearing them speak Dutch. It's easy to discover things on your own there. Love the trams. Like your videos!

That throwback picture tho ..
Great video! I'm from the north of the Netherlands. I love Amsterdam and the canals. Very busy city. It's just that most of the time tourists only explore that area. There are so many more beautiful and fun places to visit. Maybe next time come to Groningen for a day. Students love it here.
Amsterdam is great!! I will visit it soon that's for sure. Thank You👍👍
I looooved the almond cookies for breakfast at a small but cool cafe in Amsterdam. Amazing!
As a Dutchie, I loved to see this :D
Such a cool video about Amsterdam and also the rest of the country! At you're next visit you should try to visit Haarlem! It's a 15 min train ride from Amsterdam and it's such a creative city with beautiful sites and really nice coffeehouses and unique shops! I can give you more tips if you want of course!
Nicely shot...been there twice plus side trip to Haarlem...Amsterdam is a great city...
You should definitely visit the north of the Netherlands. And a specially Groningen(where kelvin and peter are originally from). The vibes there are amazing. Combination of students and city people makes a very interesting city.

I first visited Amsterdam 20 years ago for the red light district. 10 years later when I was more mature I kept visiting for the red light district. Today even more mature I still visit for the red light district because that's the only real reason to visit.
The next time you visit The Netherlands, you should go too Gouda and taste some cheese and stroopwafels. And you should go too het groene hart!

There is a restaurant in amsterdam that is pitch black when you enter the dining erea. You will be served by people that are blind or have really really bad eyesight it's really cool xP It's really an experience because you have to get used to seeing nothing but you cab hear everything and you will appreciate seeing more when you get out xP

good video vagabrother , do you have any plans for the summer?
I actually got the opportunity to go on exchange in high school to the Netherlands! It was great, and watching this made me want to go back soooooo bad! As for places you skipped over in Amsterdam, you guys should definitely try to get into Anne Frank's house. The last time I was there, the line to get in was insane, and you weren't allowed to film or take pictures, but they did give out free booklets with pictures of the house in it. I also highly recommend the Van Gogh museum. If you show them your passport, you get in for free! (Not sure if it works for any other passports besides US passports, but I'd imagine so) And finally, I recommend the pancake factory restaurant. They obviously serve pancakes, as well as other breakfast foods. Hope you guys check out some of my favorite places in Amsterdam!

Hi!, you should go to Arnhem, Amsterdam is too crowded an has to many tourists for my taste. Arnhem is a city between utrecht and nijmegen(closer to nijmegen) where I have been studying for the last 5 years. And I absolutely fell in love with it. The Rhine flows trough it and its has loads of parks. Appart from it being a city it is not to crowded. Arnhem is also trying to create the city into a center of creativety and specially for fashion. Its not to compare with milan which has a certain type of fashion. It is more creative. There alot side streets and alleys where you can find unique stores and it also has a seperate district(Klarendal) for upcoming fashon designers. The thing I love most about it is the atmosphere there. Its really relaxed with all kinds of people when your creative and you look the part being diffrent from the way regular people look you will notice that people are used to it and thats its part of the city. My favorite places are the pub and the parks specially Sonsbeek park which is huge and till this day I still haven't seen all of it. We(me and friends) have also places we made our own like a roof which is connected to a higlevel parking-space with no one to bother you and the most amazing view of the city. But my most favorite place which we just found recently is a little beach at the Rhine. You have to cross the bridge to get there and is completely isolated and still very unknown which makes to place so amazing because you have your own space and they put like a metal fire place in the sand which you can fill with the diftwood you can find along the river. And just have the best time with the most amazing view of Arnhem. You should know where to look to really appreciate Arnhem and I hope I've given you good places to start. Also want to mention is the Train station which is almost finished after something like 15 years. Its a unique building and almost more like a big piece of art. Hopefully next year it will be done but you should defnitly check it out. Groeten from the Netherlands
