Wow the addition of a IMSA license is huge. That means they'll bring us Sebring and Mosport Park in Ontario, among others. Hopefully this means new cars too. This ought to bring in a lot more new users. Love the idea to have a content manager in-game, as I find selecting cars in the menus a bit frustrating and confusing. Exciting times ahead, that's for sure.

Many people are worried about multiplayer, I mean I get it, I want the game to have a better multiplayer too, but there are many options for multiplayer, but for offline racing? most Sim games their AI is rubbish and I personally find the AI in AMS2 to be very good to do a championship offline at your own pace. I would love for them to keep prioritizing offline racing for many of us that can't adhere to a schedule. Thanks for the video and subscribed!

Thanks for the comment. I do agree but for volume downloads and higher engagement the business of online interactive gaming has to be the end goal. IMO

Sidenote: AMS2 is on sale for half price on Steam until March 21. Perfect time to nab it if you don't already have it.

AMS2 lacks so hard some kind of LMF or in-game proper online-racing system like in rF2.

I really hope we get to see more IMSA content after 2024, hope it becomes a longstanding partnership like the Brasilian stock cars. I also guess there’s no reason for me to get IRacing anymore now 😂

i bought this game recently and it runs well on my low end laptop, hopefully the update doesn't kill the game for me

Hopefully we get the Vantage GTE and new multiplayer system. So LFM can work or if they can implement their own similar system

I hope the next dlc come the Aston Martin Ferrari Audi gt3

And I hope they bring historic stuff like the old LeMans and a Porsche 917K and the rest of this class. GT3, GT3, GT3! There is enough of this modern shit...🤷‍♂

the problem with this sim is that it has a depressing online department before making all these dlc's they put their hands on the online and then the rest.

AMS2 has a lot of legacy programming from PC2 but the content is night and day compared to where it was 24 months ago. I am hopeful with their identification of the improvements that need to be made in multiplayer that we will benefit from a complete overhaul and new implementation that will bring more players together.

Racecraft online is a good online system for ams2. I think if I got more support from the players I wouldn't need to make a system

Reiza CANNOT fix the Multiplayer. It won't happen! It CANT happen. The Madness engine will NOT allow Reiza to overhaul the Multiplayer. We are 4 yrs into development of this game! It would have happened already. They discovered a while ago they were unable to create a Ranked Online system using Peer to Peer. It's based off of the capacity of the HOST PC and Internet connection!

Yes, agree it is not easy and maybe impossible in the current format but I will try and be more optimistic as the team have said more recently multiplayer is a huge project but is something they can improve but it will take longer and may involve a new system.

Finally, after all these years: nerfed iRacing

Does it have an easy to join multiplayer update? No? THEN IT DOESN'T MATTER. 😂 edit: didn't watch the video. Please let me know if it did update with multiplayer.
