I've had this on my 2018 for a couple of years and it's great! Also it does fit the active exhaust at least on the S550.

Damn the 24 was really a dud they jumped straight to 2025🔥

I’ve used a few X pipes over the years for the coyote and this one has always been my favorite it resembles the Bassani off road x from the new edge cars and in my opinion, that was the best sounding xpipe for that generation and proves to be the same for this car (imo) Got this one for my dark horse and can’t wait to hear what it sounds like combined with long tube headers!

Should have showed everybody those welds on the briefcase, I never noticed before but it is really restrictive and tight right at those welds that got cut off.... big difference in the sound with my 21, not so much as a big difference with my 17 though.

Can you do a comparison with all the modes please? Sounds amazing

Hey CJ quick question, should I go with this MBRP Resonator Delete or the h pipe. My goal is for more volume on the car.

What is the wheel set-up on this car? Looks amazing and been trying to find them. Sizes as well?

I remember the days of 2020 when you could get a 304 stainless xpipe for $179 and I just looked and the same one is now $279. Inflation sucks. And the 18-23 parts are going to stay high in price since they are compatible with the 2024 which also sucks.

Not to mention this new resonator delete is just a pre stamped cheap "X pipe" with pipes welded to it. They used to actually bend the pipes into an X.

Can making this change (“X”) cause a drone inside the car cabin?

Are those stock tips?

Genuine question Cris, I imagine the inside is not a true X pipe and its big conjunction rather. Will that be inferior to a traditional type X pipe shape?

The whole point of an X pipe is for the gasses to crossover which they will here. Any X will have some sort of open area in the crossover, MBRP just makes theirs a little different and we have been using them for years on different projects wirh good results.

I wonder what the H pipe sound like

It might be a heap louder but the tone and rasp is garbage. Id rather the stock sound tbh. I had a great brand name X pipe on my 17 but swapped it for a H in the end. Much nicer note wot.

I personally agree.. i prefer tone over volume but it seems people like them loud as possible.

Sound is always tough to translate from real world to video. I spent a week driving this car at MW and really likes the tone. We have an H pipe coming as well!

The x pipe looks like a universal one not good I would get a ford performance one or a top brand X or H pipe

It is not universal, it’s made specifically for the S550/S650
