What scares me is mark talking about ten hag is our only hope and no one can replace him. We have 48 points from 30 games. The last 8 games the teams we’ve played we lost to all except burnley ( wondegoal from Bruno ) and shef united. We tied Liverpool. If we mimic the results against the same teams we’re looking at 7 points from the next 8 and that brings us to 55 points AFTER spending 450m with this manager.

What does this "these players" meme even mean? The current United side - bar two or three players - is a completely different one to Jose's United. Ten Hag won the Dutch league with the biggest Dutch club. Doesn't mean very much. He is a midtable manager and is also using completely different tactics compared to his Ajax side. He has United concede the most shots of any team in the whole of Europe in 2024. When are you fans finally waking up?

Not every new manager that comes in will want to work with these same players why does everyone initially assume that just because Mark says it, the only reason these players are here are because the Glazers never sold them, now it's up to INEOS what they do with them and hopefully they listen to the new manager about who should be sold.

Funny thing is all our previous managers have had a system and a way of playing their football. Mourinho was built on strong defense and moments, van gaal was possession while solskjaer was counter attack but with Ten Haag its just a little of everything and our unsystematic press, if only he could atleast try to give us an identity.

If we sack Ten Hag how can we trust Sir Jim. He tells us he admires what arsenal did and how they gave him time. If he sacks Ten Hag then he just spun us like the glazers. If ineos are doing a full rebuild then amorim ,naglesmann and alonso are definately the best choices and mark needs to realise this,also if you stick with ten hagg you run the very high chance of sacking a manager mid season which doesnt help any new ownership. The problem is, there is no decisiveness in the club and hasn’t been for over a decade. Look at transfer windows and how long it takes to get players signed.

the reason they get worse the higher you go is because they base the odds on who they CAN get or would be willing to go there, not just who is the best person for the job. Yes, Nagelsman would be better than Potter, but would Nagelsman want the job? his odds will be lower because he may be more hesitant to taking the job.

When Moyes took over United he took over a team that needed a big fresh at Liverpool that is not the case. Remember Fergies last title winning team had the likes of Tom Cleverley in it.

You’d have to be deluded to think any manager would choose United over Liverpool. They have a far better squad ready to compete, the best director of football that everyone was after including United, and incredible academy talent coming through. United have older players on massive wages or awful players. Take off your tinted glasses lad.

Going to Liverool is arguably less attractive. Following Klopp and having a ready made team when any manager is going to want to stamp their mark is not ideal for any manager. I just don’t get this. Arteta finished 8th, 8th, 5th and then challenged. And he was given everything he wanted in terms of incoming signings and outgoings. ETH has had none of that. We shouldn’t even be judging ETH based on success next season. It should be “can we see an improvement next season with proper backing”. If so we keep growing the team for him. If not sack him.

You can bring any of the most successful managers out there to United but they will still fail due to poor structures at United. The current crop of players will make any manager get the sack very fast.
