The faction of the Shivsena who were aggressive towards the North Indians have been shown the door by the own electorate of their home state !!

With due respect Joya bhaduri has no respect for Bangla. She never taught bangla to her children, neither she maintained her heritage or culture. She never speaks bangla when she gives a speech in kolkata film festival. What a shame! I respect and admire her a lot. But cannot accept that at all!

The language’s name is “Bangla”. Not bangali. People who speaks bangla and their parents are bangalee and who was raised in kolkata west bengal or bangladesh is called bangalee.

Depends on the context. Yes, we Bengalis call it "Bangla" but I feel it's ok if Hindi-speakers call it "Bangalee" like Mr. Bachchan here. We call the language "German," but the language's name is actually "Deutsch." We call it "Spanish" but the language's name is "Español." Happens all the time. :)
Bengali is a very sweet language, as sweet as Rosogolla , hence scolding in Bengali Language should be obviously Sweet also. After all Misti Dhoi taste lingers on for long time & great Amitabh Bachchan experiences sweetness in Scoldings also. Probably he is the only person to have Tasted Thunder .

Actually, Jaya-Amitabh pair are opposite in nature. Where Amitabh is humble and down to earth, Jaya is short temper and adamant oriented. While making ' Guddi' Jaya had stayed in her God father Hrishida's Bungalow at Carter Road where she spent many year before marriage in 1973. But unfortunately, she didn't learn calmness, coolness and soberness from Hrishikesh Mukherjee, a perfect gentleman and kind hearted personality. Very surprising matter!
She doesn't let him nap on sofa too. Imagine earning so much and still being treated like a puppy.
Whatever she said to him, she obviously loves him and wants the best for him to behave himself... ecause paparazzi always mistaken him for somehting that would defame him. I believe that is what marriage and love support do!

For what…. Exceptional contribution to the world cinema? Bacchan Sir is a great filmstar of OUR country , not of USA. Regarding acting, Mohanlal Sir is a better actor than him.( I am a Bengali and I can name more than 5 Bengali actors who are better than him in transforming themselves into a “character”. ) Regarding madness of people around him, I think Rajinikanth Sir has an upper hand in that area. Regarding quality of his movies, they were not made to meet the standards of the Oscars. I mean his best film Sholay is never comparable with Kurosawa’s Seven Samurai.

Do you know them personally to be able to judge them? Her daughter has left her husband and her home and lives in her parents home and doesn’t have a career or anything else for self worth. Her son seems to have a difficult marriage as well. Jaya is domineering and controlling and her children have become like her.
