Thank you CMC and sister Amina for these beautiful sessions, being an architect they have been of a particular importance to me in giving me a certain inspiration as well as direction to study these arts and carry these traditions on insha'Allah. I must say after this session, i am even inspired to read the Qur'an in a way taking notes especially of the mentions of the descriptions of the environment (the physical nature broadly) and also the built aspects. This session was so beautiful 💖 JazakAllah Khair, thank you so much :)
I loved this series. It's so sad that it's coming to an end.
Dr Amina Nawaz summed up brilliantly ..... I really appreciate your listening skills
There’s a maxim in Islamic Jurisprudence, in the inaugural modules on Purification: “Water has been created pure; purifying from excretions and filth, and nothing impurifies it when it is flowing.” This is a great metaphor for gardening the human mind, body and soul: it is pure in its origin and when it is true to its nature. It has the capacity to remedy the foul born within and the foul from without. And it remains good so long as it does not stagnate and spoil.
Thank you, Amina Nawaz and Emma Clark for such an amazing discussion/talk on Islamic gardens. As a landscape architect and a garden designer, I found this talk very informative, and also I admire Emma's work. Now I will need to buy Emma Clark's books:-) May ALLAH SWT bless you both ameen.
This was beautiful. Both were totally connected, very confortable with the moment. Thank you amazing people!
Wonderful! Thank you so much - from one rose lover to another!
Jazakallah Khaire sister Amina for such a beautifull series. I absolutely loved all the wonderfully varied topics each week. It maybe wishful thinking but it would be amazing to see something similar continue after Ramadhan. Wasalaam
Jzk. Enjoyed the entire series on culture and the arts in Islam. Credit to Dr Amina Nawaz to get the best out of her guests .
I’ve thoroughly enjoyed this series. God bless your efforts, thank you.
just find this, such a good content to learn... thank you for sharing
Thank you very much for holding such enlightening discussions
so true about the Alhambra.. it does have a divine presence... I fell asleep in it's gardens the first time i visited it.
Amazing lecture. This makes me want to turn my garden into an Islamic garden!
Excellent
The tree of Assyria is one of the biggest trees known in history. This is Islamic history but also Adam and Eve history. So the garden Jannah should have this tree this one tree that is full of wisdom in a garden.
Amazing masha allah
god bless you sister.
She actually looks like female version of Hamza Tzortzis!
A good Islamic exploration.... Pls could you grant its previous sessions links..? 😊😊

Is this your last video this ramadan sister?
Sorry for a dumb question but is Sister Emma Clarke a Muslim? I am just curious?

The sister talks of 'We Muslims.' Look at her wall. Look at the things behind her. What do you think my friend?

Rashad Moolla I know people who have similar interests and love in Islamic art/culture that are not muslims.
