This was so fun to watch! I loved the idea of the Welcome Back Challenge with Amiibos, but poor Lily. And even worse, losing Lily to LEONARDO! ew, but at least it wasn’t worse like it could have been (cough cough, Marina)… Also, good job going to Target for Amiibos and leaving with only Amiibos! The checkout person probably asked if they were gift cards because it’s a common thing to get people you’re scamming to buy a ton of gift cards so employees are trained to look out for people buying tons of gift cards.

I do believe Mr. Resetti’s first name is Sonny! I was talking to Don Resetti in the Roost once and he mentioned his brother and referred to him as Sonny, so unless they have another brother I assume it’s Mr. Resetti!

Generally I enjoy your content, but this video actually really frustrated me on several levels. Firstly, I’m surprised you were able to get so many packs. My Target limits purchase of these items, trading cards, etc. to two per purchase because people did exactly what you did here and bought many, many packs at once thus limiting the number, if any, that others could purchase. Regarding your concern about buying so many and feeling like you were stealing, no, perhaps you shouldn’t have purchased so many, even if it wasn’t stealing. While you’re not using them for nefarious purposes such as scalping, which is one of the reasons my Target had to institute the above rule, the fact that you essentially bought the entire inventory, leaving only one, as you had mentioned in your response to Eileen’s comment below is disheartening to say the least, especially this near to the holidays when others may have been excited to have purchased those as stocking stuffers. Second, the rules seemed fairly incoherent. I’m not certain if you ever really script your videos, I’d imagine not for the blind memory card reaction videos you do, but a video such as this where you’re attempting to explain the rules of a challenge could certainly benefit from a fleshed out script. Lastly, I understand that I’m only one viewer, and many comments seem to be positive, but I cannot support this type of content in the future because it just embodies greed and covetousness for the sake of content and views. I sincerely hope that others who are still hoping to purchase cards at their local Targets are still able to do so. ❤

Believe me when I say there were MANY packs left lol. It was sarcasm. If Nintendo would make these products more accessible then those who are looking to purchase them wouldn’t have to buy as many at once. I literally NEVER have purchased any amiibo packs before the Sanrio collection. The expectation that one consumer should limit their purchases is unreasonable if the manufacturer does not make their product readily available for purchase or if retailers are inconsistent in their purchasing policies. I still don’t have a PS5 but I’m not upset if someone bought four for themselves and their family but didn’t save one for me. I know for a fact that these cards are not difficult to make but as someone who is collecting them for personal use, it’s frustrating that they are not as readily available as Pokémon cards. Maybe one day that will change. But I make no apologies for paying over $100 to try and complete my own collection at manufacturer’s suggested retail price 🤷🏽‍♀️ “Greed for content and views” This hurts my feelings because as a 20+ year animal crossing fan…I literally am just collecting amiibos for my personal use and for fun and thought I’d turn it into a fun adventure for y’all instead of opening them in private. Literally the video ranked 8 out of 10 so that’s extra salt in the wound 😭 (seriously, I am collecting them and thought it would be fun). Thanks for watching and for your feedback.
