In east-german schools music lessons contained a lot of actual singing: 50% folk songs and 50% marching and party songs of the working class (Kampf- und Parteilieder der Arbeiterklasse). We actually hated these, but until today I still know all the lyrics. This "Ami, Go Home!" was unfortunately not part of our curriculum, because of its references to a unified Germany (father Rhine & Loreley) - but it is i.m.o. the most striking of its kind.

It created safety. We aren't afraid of communist countries anymore. They lost the cold war, and became free and democratic.

Du solltest Dich mal mit dem Fach Geschichte auseinandersetzen. Die Bundesrepublik ist (zum Glück) Mitglied der NATO und gestattet damit anderen NATO-Armeen auch den Aufenthalt auf ihrem Territorium. Der Russe gehört nun mal nicht zur NATO und hat deshalb hier nichts zu suchen. Muss man Euch das wirklich wie Kleinkindern erklären???

Eher hätte man sich was in Sache Spree oder Elbe ausgedacht. Vor Allem wo doch die Spree in Sache Berlin wohl etwas sinnvoller wäre. Aber ich fände es auch gut, wenn alle anderen Soldaten gehen würden, und Deutschland mit seiner unfähigen und nicht abwehrbereiten Bundeswehr, sich - wie Frankfreich und Großbritannien auch - um seinen Dreck alleine kümmert und nicht andauernd nach den USA kreischt, sich doch bitte um die Drecksarbeit zu kümmern um dann moralisieren zu können.

Keule, der Ami geht nicht, weil es den Europäern Vorteile bringt und diese einfach keine Lust haben, dass er geht. Bevor der Ami gehen wird, muss Europa erstmal ausm A... kommen und Themen wie Sicherheit, Wirtschaft und Politik in die eigenen Hände nehmen, was aber nicht passieren wird, weil man sich dann nicht mehr hinter den Amis verstecken kann und auf diese Schimpfen kann, wenn man Scheiße baut. Auch mit solchen Populisten wie der Afd oder der Linken nicht, das würde nämlich unangenehme Folgen bedeuten und das kostet dann Wählerstimmen.

Can't approve this as a East German. But fun fact, even tho it doesn't looks like that, somewhere somehow the devision between East and West German(y) still exists. Wierd but it sometimes feels like that.

@@thuringian1127 You're a weird east german if you dont know how there is division considering west germany basically doesnt spend money on the east and let its industry die out if not outright remove and sold it away aswell as basically just doesnt do anything to help the east get a similar economic boost so it's at the level of the west.
