i have tried amgrip and it is pretty good but yeah, literally any grip will work. like it doesn't even matter. grip is grip. if you think its too grippy for your liking you can always just sand it down. if its not grippy enough, honestly its just in your head. its still gonna work. like i said, grip is grip

It's all about preference. Mob is great grip it is a lil more gritty so it will kill shoes faster. Amgrip the grit isn't as brutal so shoes won't get killed as quickly and still over great grip. Some people want more grip and some don't.

Sorry guys I've tried Am grip and all sorts of different grip tape and I got to say MOB grip all the way it's just so good lol I think y'all were a little one sided on this one cause they are actually your sponsor and you're trying to hype them up but yeah maybe throw more grip tapes in like Jessup and Mini logo? I don't think they're "sponsored" by amgrip per say, but if you've ever seen Doug on this channel it's his grip tape, so I think that's why they support him. (I have no opinion on which grip is better but Doug is a real cool dude and I think it's pretty awesome he opened his own line of grip).

if you are looking for the grippiest griptape you need seismic lokton comes in smaller sheets, if I am not mistaken the ninja star version has the most grip, lasts long and looks awesome aswell, only downside you do need to heat up the resin on the botem a little otherwise there might be problems with it sticking

In my 12 years of skating I have realized that MOB and Bones griptape holds up the test of time. Shant junt, grizzly, Diamond are hyped up brands that lose grip over a week of continuous skateboarding. Jessup, plain colored grip and shop griptape dont have a high grid count so their brand new griptape feels like a year old mob straight from the box. The more grip the better especially for ease in flipping the board. You gain more board control when getting techy. You dont want to jump off an obstacle just to see your board flying the opposite way. Or slipping off your board when doing vert. I usually buy a board a month so real quickly I noticed differences in the gear I was using.

Henry Rendon I have sensitive skin and I have to say, when I switched to MOB I got blisters and worn down skin it was so grippy. I even have calisses where my skin is permanently tough to make it less painful.

you should try mob m80 grip. it is a less grippier grip tape that was made for more technical skating. i have used it for over a year and find it more responsive and less rough on the shoes than regular mob is.

I've never skated amgrip or mob but I did go with the sheet of Jessup when I got my revive deck. My first board was from amazon and it had some generic grip. There is definitely a difference between the higher quality Jessup, and whatever the amazon complete gave me.

Shake junt is the best

I prefer less grippy, that's why i just painted the top of my board black instead of using grip tape

i use a cotton backed industrial 80 grit sanding belt, then use carpet adhesive to hold it on. it's permanent and has lasted longer than any board i've had, it's also way cheaper than grip tape

Okay...I'm sold. Where can I buy the black Amgrip board tape in the USA? Was it a hit and then fizzled? It's sold out everywhere except for the U.K. Out of all the grip tapes I've looked at, that one has the truest black color. I'm buying a limited edition board for my grandson and I hate covering the graphics at all. Clear tape is cloudy, the charcoal grays aka black looks like it came from a weeks work on my belt sander. If I have to cover the stunning graphics I want that shade of black. Any suggestions?

Drew Knechtges I used Black diamond when I made some boards in school and it was pretty bad tbh like it didn’t sand down properly when I scored it it didn’t cut properly and it was just brittle and broke apart
