Yep, only it was $3.25 per hour when I worked there.

"If you have a problem, tell your store manager" and then get transferred to a worse store or fired!

What a sad day when they were gone and I always loved getting my stuff there because of the way they treated their customers and their Employees.; There was a Big Ames in Boyertown and it was a beautiful store.

"Associates must wear neat clean jeans..." Dirty ass shoes @ 1:26 lol. What a rebel!

I was an employee of Ames Store 78 in Alden,NY as a night owl associate from 1988 to 1995. The store is a Save A Lot food store now.

Ames and Hills.. those where the days. Look at America now 👌

2:04 Ames had a snack bar? I could see what looks like a popcorn machine on the shelf behind the employee. That same employee that was handing the customer a hotdog. I heard some Zayre stores had snack bars and when they became Ames they still used the snack bar but that was only in a very few locations

Yes some Ames stores had a snack bar too. I remember when I was a kid sometimes one of the Ames stores that we went to in my area had a snack bar, and my mom would by me a soft pretzel,Icees, and nachos with spicy cheese dip. Those were the days!

In the Northeast, Ames took over Zayre which had some snack bars in certain stores.

Instead of the 3 C's, Joe should promote the 3 B's: BS, Biasness, and Bragging All things that indicate why people don't last too long from the so-called teamwork itself, let alone the low pay.
