The Amerisleep AS5 (formerly known as the Independence mattress) is the softest mattress in the Amerisleep line. It’s built from 3 different layers of advanced foam. The top layer is 2″ of Bio-Pur+. Amerisleeps’ Bio-Pur+ is an advanced plant-based memory foam that goes through a process called reticulation. The Bio-Pur+ still has all the great benefits of traditional memory foam, but with much improved cooling. The middle layer is 3″ of Activus foam. This layer has the contour of traditional memory foam, but is highly responsive…meaning it quickly changes as you move and change positions during the night. The bottom layer is a 9″ layer of Bio-Core foam. This is a breathable support foam that acts as a foundation for the top layers of the mattress.

I have a question: between the ZenHeaven mattress and this mattress, what would be a better fit?
How does it differ from the hybrid version

Is this mattress safe for babies? Or is there an increased risk of smothering

Wesley Joyce I've been researching the BRB- Natasha, Hybrid, Tatiana and the Serta iComfort iii. None of the reviews over 2 years old would buy again. All experienced severe sagging and the hybrid is super hot to sleep on. This is what I've garnered from my research 🤷♀️. BTW- the Tatiana is just a taller version of the Natasha that features 1850 coils... that's an insane amount of coils! I wanted it terribly, but not for 5 grand every couple of years.
Good review but is it also good or great for heavy people

Depending on the weight I don't think this is the best choice for heavy people. Heavier side sleepers will need a bit more support, maybe from something like the WinkBeds Plus: kzread.info/dash/bejne/ZJuuu8uSfZzfhZM.html

@@MikeTobler9624 It's a pretty tall mattress so there is a lot of foam, but you're going to push pretty far into it and without the coils of a hybrid probably have a bit of a stuck feeling changing positions. Some people like that feeling of sinking deep into bed, others... not so much
