アメリカ爆撃 (Bombing America) - Japanese Military Song

Bombing America is a song that was released on May 20, 1942 by Columbia Records. The song was written on the premise of bombing the United States. The lyrics are relentless, calling the US "the enemy of Asia" and will "beat them until they scream" . In August of the same year, a small Type Zero surface reconnaissance plane aboard an I-5 submarine bombed the state of California. This is a cheerful wartime song that begins, "We wait for the bombing of the U.S. mainland this day. It is assumed that this song was written in response to the bombardment by the I-17 on February 24. Therefore, the title "Bombing of America" is a bit of an exaggeration for a song about historical facts. If we talk about attacks that qualify as "bombing," we can mention the aerial bombing by Yokosuka E14Y planes in September of the same year, or the balloon bombs that were launched after 1944. Both of these attacks were not as great as the lyrics make them out to be.

Same. Given the fact that there is an italian version too it would be cool to have a japanese version
Thanks for Good video. but 1:07 and 2:13 荒鷲(Arawashi)means “ferocious eagle”, in other word, the elite aircorps of normal strategy. not means Kamikaze corp. This song was released in May 1942, and IJN attacked the US mainland in the same year. the first kamikaze attack was in 1944.
