I remember living in the Bronx and this blasting in the clothing stores in Fordham road and me shopping for clothes for my vacation to mx and just enjoying this song being so youthful and just singing to this song and the sun shining on my face and being so fucking humid. I wish I were in this place in this era..

This song, couldn't afford to go to college so I would hang out at a friend's CD store, just helping out listening to good music which helped take me out of the darkness of depression. Some of these artists will never know what their music has done for us nor how much it means to us.

I still have this song downloaded in my phone. It reminds me when I got arrested back in 2001. And then I went to prison because of my case and I heard it in prison all the time. So hearing that song just reminds me of my case altogether. Sad but memories you only have.

20 years old when this dropped and man it still gives me the same feeling. I swear my ipod does not go past 2004 with the music I listen too. It's all 90's and early 00's.
