It's not for breakfast actually... in north India, they serve it as a complimentary before your order comes ... being a South Indian living in north, I don't know where they got the idea to serve papad with rasam 😅😅 but it's not actually as bad as it looks here... because you know korbin is new... if it's a good restaurant then it tastes quite good... 👌😄

True... Rasam always comes at the end for many. Seems they were guided by the ones from the rest lot who put rasam in the top of their list. And they were suggesting dosa to be dipped into all in a go. Also I feel restaurant was all gloss but no real taste.

You dont need to be a south indian to know that the papad thing was dumb.

Unfortunately the person advising Korbin what to eat, though meaning well, didn't understand what to suggest. Indians make the mistake, because they are already used to their own food assume that everyone else will instantly like the taste of everything they taste. Also, do not overwhelm your guests with choices of items and dips. Idli and Vadas, many times by even good restaurants are quite hard and not very palatable. Mostly I introduce Dosas to foreigners and tell them to try with chutney. They take to that. Just introduce them slowly and gradually. Here this person was suggesting multiple dips, and the idli and vada looked hard.

Sorry but the way that guy was telling Korbin to try everything was very annoying. Please just guide them a bit and let them explore everything himself . There's no one way of eating food. You may eat dosa and sambhar(or whatever) in a different manner. You may use a spoon after having a bite of dosa if you don't like using your hands, no need to necessarily scoop everything in a curry.

And being a Southie, I have seen a very close elderly gentleman dip dosa in chutney followed by Saambaar and then put it into his mouth. So all kinds of tastes exist. Thankfully they pronounced Saambaar properly and not samburr!!!

Instead of these u would have tried north Indian dishes over there.. each state has its own taste and tats just a mimic of them in other states.. the true pleasure of the taste of the food s felt right at the place where it is made originally! Travel to South India.. we have 5 states having 5 different style food tasting heavenly.. ;))

The only thing I would say is that It would have been much better if somebody actually had shown them how to eat each thing instead of confusing them so much. Also, pretty sure they didn't enjoy the meal as much they should have cause it was too crowded and the task to shoot a vlog and reaction ughh!. Firstly, thank you "Our Stupid Reactions" for visiting India and appreciating our food. I highly appretiate your efforts and the time you have put in this. In India, every state has its own special food. For exploring the real taste you need to get into the streets in that respective state. South Indian foods are made much spicier and tastier in south Indian states. For example in Andhra the original food is "Pesarattu Upma". You must have got a taste but not the original taste. I say this as I was born in the southern part and have eaten south Indian food since birth from north and south Indian states.

The way u guys support and love indian culture, lifestyle and cuisines. Thats adorable .

This chain of restaurant here in Delhi where they went serves Rasam before every meal. I don’t know how South Indians have Rasam but at this restaurant they serve it as an appetiser and all the staff there in all the franchise are South Indians(atleast that’s what I have noticed) So we are made to believe what they want us to believe. But trust me the food there is really awesome.

The guy who was instructing was terrible!!!! First let korbin try the stuff without any chutneys or dip. Let him taste dosa or wada or uttapam or idli by itself then u can go for the dips and chutneys. I got so irritated by the "instructor"

The way they teaching them how to eat ,as a person from south india : I'm speechless and my disappointment is immeasurable.

I got a headache just watching this lmao. They could have just SHOWN korbin instead of telling him how to do this and that. Also papad and rasam for breakfast? I'm not even south Indian and I cringed so bad🤣 maybe you should save south Indian food for when you visit south India:) Ps: what a great time to be traveling across the world.

The funniest part was that the folks from the north were treating South Indian food and explaining the food

South Indian food is amazing.. when you have it in South and with proper scoop 😂😂 they are literally confusing you dosa with a sweet noway.. come to South I'll show you the taste of South... Literally heaven 😬🙊

So the whole Indian trip is gonna be how Indians experiment on 2 Americans.. 😂 specially Korbin...

I have been there many times... it's in "Hauz Khas Village" by the name "Navedyam". A famous South Indian restaurant, they have awesome dishes and it's my all time favourite in that area...n m glad you guys visited there 🥰

Eating idli/dosa in South India is authentic. You should have tried it either in Blore or Chennai

Bruh atleast get a tamilian or a keralite While trying out South Indian breakfast. RASAM= SPICY LIQUID? FORREAL BRUH? Who taught these guys to eat pappadam and then drink rasam 😂 No hatred to people in this video. I just wish these guys knew what they were talking about. I've been a subscriber of this channel since it's inception and I hope that they get a lot of knowledge and insight to Indian Cuisine than *mAkE a sCoOp oUt oF iT* I suggest that you involve people belonging to respective states as that of the food so that you'll get a proper explanation.

Rasam is so delicious not spicy at all. Both of these guys tried south dishes in the wrong place. Wrong region actually. Because south dishes in North sucks. North dishes are always best in Northern regions South dishes are always best in southern regions

Yah because there were not many ppl back then, just rick and Indrani. I get that you need a bunch of ppl to organise stuff but I really expected them three enjoying don't want everyone because then they'll not be able to experience the stuff themselves. They do it wrong or right don't care but let them be, let them enjoy and if they do anything wrong we're here to guide them.

South Indian food should have been avoided this tour and kept exclusively for south India tour. Not only did you miss authentic south indian food which would have been explained way better by people from South. Also you missed one meal of Real North Indian Delhi food. Where are the chhole bhature, Rajma Chawal, Chaat, Nalli Nihari, Butter Chicken, Parathas, and many other delicious north Indian meals. #BlameRohan

Fennel seeds and rock suger eat after to digeste the meal we had... You can take it as mouth freshener though... But the exact reason is to help food to get digest properly...

But y are you guys trying south Indian food in Delhi😂😂😂.this is ridiculous. .you should first go out and try chhole bhature there and then there are a huge variety of delicious foods waiting for you there but Delhi isn't the place to try south Indian food guys😂
