If you use the curry ketchup, mayonnaise and mix it with the egg yolks of a boiled egg and some mango chutney then put them back in the egg white halves, you then have a version of devilled eggs.

Or just mash the boiled egg yolk and white together…. Add the curry ketchup, coronation mayo and mango chutney - mix together, then…. Butter fresh crusty bread, pop the mix on top - a genius open sandwich! Yaaay 😘😘😘

That sounds like a nice alternative to standard deviled eggs.

I never eat coronation chicken cos i cant stand sultanas/raisins... so i guess that sauce is good for people to make their own. Id have it on a hot buttered potato with salad.

Definitely give it a try if you like the flavors, but just not the sultanas.

I've not tried curry ketchup yet but it sounds nice, my idea of a good curry is vindaloo, madras, jalfrezi, but I don't know what to think about phaal which is super hot , hope you're ok with the heat dome, it looks really hot out there and if you're near the sea or mountains try to get there, have a good weekend if you can.

Hi Michael, we're getting a little break this weekend, but more heat coming up next week. The curry ketchup is mild, a nice alternative to regular ketchup. Never tried phaal, not sure we want to!

Size wise, that was my kind of butty. Would have substituted the chicken with the chips - though they did sound a bit hard - with plenty of the ketchup on. Btw saw the sad story about a woman being killed by a black bear in California, do you ever see bears around your area?

Some of the smaller chips got a bit overdone! We don't get bears in our area, occasionally there are mountain lion sightings. Bears are more common in the mountains - people have to use bear-proof trash bins. Apparently that was the first documented fatal black bear attack in California.

Heinz curry ketchup I use in vegetable bowl usually pop in some frozen veg in microwave coat in curry's sauce when hot makes nice taste especially if I'm having fish cooked separately. I've not tried the hellmans
