Mic drop actually produced by BTS members themselves and collab with their in-house producers. It built up from jhope verse(The first rapper who start off). Steve aoki just remix the song. Fans love the original version so much when they were performing it live. It so LIT. BTS are really talented group. And their songs always meaningful with deep lyrics. But this song specifically for haters.

sonia garcia suarez RM confirmed it from last year vlive when he talked about the album that he said the song start off with jhope verse.They built the beat based on that. The song inspire from famous barrack obama mic drop and RM said he no longer felt that anger to haters at that time so they end up making mic drop song instead of cypher. Yes, its true that pdogg produced the song, but BTS rapline take a big part of production of the song for lyrics. Maybe i said it wrong previously. But the main point is, BTS made the song together with their in-house producers, by contributing their verses and lyrics.

Bts is different from what everyone knows as kpop. That's why most of their fans aren't really into kpop but we like bts bc they self produce, compose and self writes their songs with meaningful lyrics abt social issues and mi. You should check hip hop lover, cyphers, outro: tear, and the mixtapes of the rapline 👍

There are other amazing groups that self-produce, self-compose, and write meaningful lyrics, too. There's VIXX, Pentagon, SF9, Seventeen, B.A.P., and many more who do this! I love BTS, but don't single them out of the kpop category and put them on this high pedestal and make it seem like no one can reach it. A lot of ARMYs are also multi-fandom, such as myself for example.

I loved this review. I normally do not comment on KZread reactors' aesthetics but what I viewed were three handsome young men whose countenances or body language showed something very familiar - sprouting army 😊. Btw I got chills watching this BTS video as if it were the 1st time again - BTS is truly amazing.

The DT stands for Degeu Town, which is the name of an old rap group he was in when he went by the name ‘gloss’ WAY before he signed with BigHit and was a poor and struggling underground rapper. He has a LOT of pride for his home town Degeu and in many of his songs and bts songs refers to himself as being "from the D" or being a ‘d-boy' similar to the BTS cyphers, this song is a huge call out to those people who call him ‘Only a idol rapper’ or ‘sell out’ He is proving that he has talent and he has earned his way to the top through the skill and hard work. and ‘Joke’ by Rap Monster (also from BTS) ‘Give it to me’ by Agust D if u haven’t already 🙂

Mic Drop was inspired by former president Obama’s speech. The first line of the song was *"Yeah, who says my spoon is dirty"* (baepsae another song by BTS) reference to being called “dirt spoon”* It is a metaphor for someone with no privilege (opposite of those born with silver spoon in their mouth). If you don't know, BTS came from a small agency and people doubted if they will be successful and that they are underdogs. The second line is *"I don’t care, I hold the mic and beat up many gold spoons."* BUT WHEN THEY PERFORM OR HOLD THE MIC THEY CAN BE BETTER THAN WHO HAS 'GOLD SPOONS' (people who are bigger and powerful than them) The chorus part is English *"Did you see my bag?"* but bag in Korean means connections and they are talking about how they are from the bottom but now they are on the top because they have many supportive fans and all the things that helped them to be the best are the *connections* Lastly, *"There’s nothing I want from you, this is the last good-bye there’s nothing to be said, don’t even bother to apologize"* this is for all their haters and people who tried to drag them down and who doubted them.

Those are their real voices btw - RM (jumps out the ambulance) he’s super fluent in English, he taught himself from watching sitcom “friends” when he was younger with korean subtitles then English subtitles afterwards removing it altogether, IQ of 148! They all can speak English here & there but that’s why one of many reasons RM is the leader because he’s a translator/spokesperson of BTS

He studied abroad in New Zealand. He is the leader because BTS was made for and around him. Being a spokesperson is just part of the leaders job, and that he was able to translate was a bonus, but they weren’t the reasons as to why he was made the leader. He was always going to be the leader, from the very beginning because of his talent. Other than those two things, everything else you said is correct. :) be careful what you say, please. Don’t spread misinformation. 💜

Where or who said that RM studied aboard? b/c I’m been a kpopper for 11 years and 6 of those of years I became ARMY (a year before they debuted since their plan was to debut in 2012 but got pushed it to June 13 2013, I don’t remember the full reason) not once did I read/hear him mention or hint to ARMYs that he ever studied aboard in any of their interviews or articles.
