Yeah, makeup is actually important for all performers because of lighting and stuff! Eyeliner makes the eyes pop! (I'm a dancer so I know how important makeup is even tho I personally hate wearing makeup cuz it feels uncomfortable for me). Lol

truly. everyone on screen from actors, musicians to news anchors and politicians wear makeup. And many male western musicians have worn heavy heavy much heavier makeup than BTS ever has. When people point it out, as if it's different/unusual (when it's not), it just reveals the unconscious bias and prejudice of those individual people who feel a need to point it out and see it as different. It's not different, it only seems different to them because they see the people wearing it as different. just old as day racial prejudice dumb af shit. haters gonna hate, as usual. we move on. :)

It is not just about makeup but the whole skin-care routine that the Koreans have, even the men. You can't apply makeup on an uncared-for complexion. Also the beautiful and healthy hair BTS boys have. It's a big deal in my opinion, in a positive way. And the most important rule for me: NO BEARDS ! ♥ God Bless Our Beautiful Boys ! ♥

In terms of make up. Yes men wear make up. Not just idols, but male models, actors even singers too. Eyeliner... really? Not heard of billie joe armstrong from green day? Aerosmith has contour on? Mclean? Do you want me to keep going? The only difference is kpop use make up well, they balanced it well but since some of them naturally has androgynous looks suddenly it looks too feminine? Why not put a beard on them to look more masculine well not everyone can grow them. Asians dont always have very sharp and chiseled features unlike westerns. Maybe some asian men can have but not most.

BTS have so many songs that convey different emotions, like they have their turn up songs like NOT TODAY, MIC DROP, DOPE, FIRE but they also have meaningful/emotional songs like SPRING DAY, BUTTERFLY, EPILOGUE: YOUNG FOREVER, OUTRO:HOUSE OF CARDS, I NEED U. They also have their own solo songs as well from their WINGS ALBUM, and there's the "CYPHERS" (1-4) which are 4 songs from the rap line of the group - RM, SUGA & JHOPE.

Western artists also wear make up, lol, even the hardest, baddest rapper etc also has a full face of make up and turn on CC for BTS. Like also don't compare Exo & BTS, lol you don't want the beef it'll bring to your channel, also Mic Drop has been played on American TV and at games etc, so you might have heard it there.

BTS is super diverse, they are initially a hip hop group, but they also do a lot of other genres, even jazz at one point. If you want more of a chill song you could react to save me or I need U, Spring Day is a ballad and has a TON of meaning in the lyrics and the MV, I think those are the most chill songs for title tracks. Most of their other chill songs don't have MV's but BTS is known for having really good albums not just title tracks. One's I would recommend that are my favorites (but I don't really know what genre you guys would want) would be 'Autumn Leaves' 'love is not over' or 'hold me tight', I was also obsessed with this song called silver spoon, it was my jam for at least half a year. One of the rappers of the group (Suga/Agust D) likes to put like kind of a piano playing in the background but he comes in with really passionate lyrics and rapping in a lot of his stuff like his solo 'First Love' which is really emotional because he talks about music being his first love . 'Fire' and 'Not Today' are really hype songs, they also have four Cyphers because of all the hate they had and still have aimed at them. 'Butterfly' is a really beautiful song and 2!3! is a song for their fans. There's to many to name, I think once you react to them more you'll see why they are so popular.

All K-Pop idols wear makeup... BTS write there own songs and they do different genres. This was more to the haters, that's why the leader RM said,"Haters going to hate,Players gon play,Live your life man, Good Luck." All BTS songs have meaningful lyrics, they do have "CC" for there music videos. BTS is from a small company "Big Hit Entertainment, and a lot of people said they weren't going to make it in the k-pop community, while Exo is from one of the top three companies in South Korea"SM Entertainment"

If you want more slow and chill songs listen to spring day by bts. Bts always have concepts in there music

They do have different styles. One of their older more chill songs would probably be Save Me. There’s also I Need U and Run. Just some suggestions🙃

I love your reactions and have subscribed. I'm about 6 months behind you in my discovery of BTS. I'm a 61 year old grandma. No one has ever understood my taste in music. I've always loved the hard rock. Not classic rock, (I was literally sick of that 40 years ago). Im talking Disturbed, Linkin Park, Korn, Avenged Sevenfold... But I've also been a closet 'boy band' lover and I'm a sucker for a good dance routine. I saw the phone add that features Butter about a month ago and looked them up on KZread. The first 3 videos were Butter, Permission to Dance and Dynamite. I really enjoyed them and thought, "Okay, a new boy band that can really dance!" However, the next video up was Mic Drop. Mind blown! I know I watched it 50 times that night. That is definitely my jam (do people still say that? Grandma's do I guess.) Then I saw ON. Speechless! Jimin looked me right in the eye at the end and I don't know what happened after that. BTS is my new obsession. I have listened to them non stop since. Their videos are perfection. The rap has such good flow, the transitions are flawless and they all work so hard to bring the vocals, supporting each other's strengths. J-Hope is nothing short of beautiful. When he smiles, wow! That being said, Jimin is the total package. He's so sweet, I could eat him with a spoon. His face, his voice, his moves, his passion... I didn't know I still had these feelings inside me.

Bts is a versatile group they produce and write most of their songs. They have all kind of song seriously if you don't watch it or listen to them. You are missing out. After yall watch all kind of music of bts, you are gonna know why are they so popular and successful.
