The countries of the Commonwealth including Canada, Australia, NZ, etc. have the British monarch as the head of state. The monarch's representative in those countries is called the Governor-General. When these countries stopped being British colonies they CHOSE to keep the monarch as the head of state rather than becoming a republic with a president. There are some advantages to this as the head of state is politically neutral rather than the USA president who is definitely not politically neutral.

I would say anybody who likes pinapple, other than vegitarians, will love the Hawaiian pizza. I don't like pineapple and would even pick it out of fruit cocktail. The thought pineapple on a pizza was revolting to me. But there came a time at a friends place I eat it or go hungry as that's what he ordered just before I got there. I picked a few pieces off and took a bite and realized the taste of the pinapple was still there. But combination of sweet with the spicy pizza sauce and was surprisingly tasty. I didn't bother picking the rest of the pinapple off and 40 years later pizza is still the only way I ever eat pineapple. It was actually the only pizza my two kids would eat until they were well into their teens. I have since expanded on the traditional ham and pinapple adding pepperoni and green peppers to it. That's a new favorite, sweet and spicy, alternating with my old favorite pepperoni, salami, onion, and green peppers. There's been a few things with food I thought was a weird combo that actually turned out quite tasty. All I can say is, don't knock it till you try it.
