Americans Choose 5 Best Things in Braga (Portugal)
Is Braga worth it? Braga, Portugal is becoming more and more popular among foreigners as a great place to live but why? Is it too small? Are there enough things to do there? Maybe it’s better for a visit? Josh and Kalie from ExpatsEverywhere asked American expats who have been living in Braga for a while what they like about it. What do they recommend you do? Some of their answers surprised us. Let’s see what they said.
For a more comprehensive breakdown of the city, check out this video here: • THE REASONS Why So Man...

As expats-to be, we visited Portugal earlier this year to see what everyone was talking about. Porto was fine but the jewel of the trip was Braga and the Duoro Valley.

@@ExpatsEverywhere Looking forward to it, can't wait. Thanks. 😊
We scouted our way through PT earlier this year and Braga was so wonderful. I just wasn't sure about living there because I really want to live near water - river or ocean. You really did make me "say what!?!" when you highlighted the river beaches near Braga. I had no idea! Thanks again for the awesome information that provides a more comprehensive look. I'm also super interested in Viana do Castelo. We didn't get to visit there, so I'm burning to get back and explore more. 👀🕵️♀️

Nice, Miranda! We're glad to do it. Thanks for sharing what you learned from the video. Keep us posted. WE LOVE Viana do Castelo. - Josh & Kalie
A tour do estádio é bem legal.
Greetings from Estoril...As someone who used to live in Ponte de Lima and visits Braga often...It is my favorite city in Portugal! From the Energy to the People including activities...It provides an healthy balance between Play and work! Simply Fantastic! 🇵🇹✌️👏😎

Thanks for this encore review of Braga. We visited Bom Jesus but wasn’t the best weather so thanks for showing what it looks like on a sunny day. 😎 Appreciate the piece on the river beaches. Have heard of them but never saw them. 🤷 Wasn’t aware of the Braga Stadium uniqueness-thanks for this tip as well. 👍🏻

Our pleasure! Thanks for the comment, Maurice. It's also great to know when we highlight things that people haven't considered. - Josh & Kalie
This is great...always interested in Braga. Thank you! Can you also do an informational visit to Viana do Castelo? There is an inner city, beaches, a beautiful promenade along the water. I have seen it on KZread but not through your eyes...or maybe I missed it? Again, thanks for all you do.

What I found the most curious in Braga was the Casa dos Crivos ( Sieves House), which was built to look the street outside, but never be seen inside.

Hi, sorry that we missed this comment! We were traveling when the video went live and we didn't have any internet access. Where did you end up? - Josh & Kalie
You tempted me with the funicular. I think a lifetime won´t be enough to know Portugal, and I´ve never been in Braga!! And I think you didn´t show us the Coimbra stadium! 🙂

That's correct but what's your point? Are you saying that one word can't exist because another word exists? That's weird.
Would they let you live in Braga if you don't brag a lot?

You have see it in the winter with the smoke burning in the fields. The air is so difficult to breathe. Changed my mind about Braga. I chose Porto instead and very happy.
