It's finally here!

American Vampire is really good! I would do anything to see an R-Rated adult animated series adaptation based on the comics. That would be so cool!

If done in live action, the guy who did the CGI for the Grimm series needs to jump in. That would clinch it for me.

I’ve been sitting on volume 1 since it first came out waiting for a volume 2. As soon as it showed up I broke open the seal and can’t wait to binge it. I have the vertigo version and I’m honestly not mad . Not gonna drop more money just to get a version that says Black Label.

I've had the original volume 1. This looks so fricken sweet! I didn't think DC would get it right based on there track record (Green arrow, Mike Grell. I'm looking at you) but they smashed it out of the park. Well done DC!

@@davidgraham8299 the problem he’s talking about is that the spines don’t match but if you don’t care about matching spines it’s perfectly fine

I'm starting vol 2 tonight. I cant wait to see how it ends. This is a great series

I got both of mine & read ‘em in a week, I just couldn’t put it down. I had read a few issues of American Vampire but I was waiting for the reprint & I wasn’t disappointed. I liked the way Snyder wrapped up the story, I thought it was satisfying. I’m glad they changed the cover to vol 2 cos now they look great together. If you’re a fan of vampires & horror comics then I highly recommend this series. Perfect time of year to read this tale.

I can't wait to read them. I always wanted to to read it but never was able to get the series and I'm not a huge fan used Trades My volume 2 will arrive tomorrow from Amazon Germany where I immediately placed my pre order last May when I saw them there since the omnibus volume 1 was impossible to find new for a fair price so I'm extremely happy that they reprinted it. And the best thing is that I only payed 74€ (around 72$) for each of them. Now they've the correct one price listed which means I've saved around 100 bucks (volume is more expensive over here at least). The video is fantastic as always and now I'm even more stoked to get the second omni in.

Looking forward to checking out the 2nd volume even with the "if you liked Twilight...." comment, lol. Haven't read any of this :)

Really can’t decide if I should pick these up or not!

Not the sort of book I usually read, but it’s tempting. In the UK following the Gunpowder Plot in 1605 (5th November) we have an annual celebration with bonfire and fireworks. So for us that date is arguably bigger than Halloween, so i’ll be reading Absolute V for Vendetta which has a similar theme.

✅100 Bullets, ✅American Vampire. Now I’m hoping DMZ gets the omnibus treatment so I can have my vertigo trinity complete.

Since it's getting close to Halloween, I have a question about a certain graphic Novel. Have you ever read 30 days of night? If you have is it a good Novel and would you recommend it?

Does omni 1 and 2 have the same content as all the 9 HC's?

I love the new cover for vol.2 compared to the original. I was confused at first when picking up the book, but remembered we're dealing with DC here. DC seems to love changing cover designs at the last minute whether its for the better like with American Vampire vol.2 or for the worst like with Batwoman and Priest's Deathstroke.

It’s advertised with the wrong cover.

Loved what we read electronically, definitely picking this up in physical.

In real life if I was a vampire I would be the American vampire breed because I like walking in the sun I think the monstrous vampires form is badass

I enjoyed Vol. 1 more. Vol.2 didn't work for me. It was too cheesy and almost near comically dumb, but I guess it had to be.

Can't help yourself and spoil things as usual! Not looking at these "overviews" anymore.

What in the world was spoiled for you? I do my best to keep from spoilers when talking about books. If the overviews aren’t for you. Plenty of other channels out there that I’m sure will fit your needs.

You can look elsewhere and I guarantee you'll come right back. No one does overviews like Omar and what was spoiled? Vampires in America! Gasp!
