We need a modern of this. Sometimes your in an Abrams, sometimes a squad n APC. sounds good??? Anyone listening....
“a turret facing forward can only hit targets in area B”. To hit the INF you would need to rotate the turret and then fire one shot.
Per 7.1.4 of the rules, AT guns are replaced by an equal number of SPG’s on a Defense mission.

Was this errata? I'm reading 7.1.4 of the rules right now and I do not see this mentioned?

Yes. Actually, it's an "addition" to 7.1.4.
First ever solo wargame for me. I do like the amount of decisions you CAN make and the narrative you are able to get out of it. Great stuff.
At around 12:20 when You had the Vols Inf suppressed, wouldn't have been better to target the Pak gun?? Had you killed the gun the Inf would have ran away and you could have saved any munitions in case they attacked or re-enforcements showed up???

At least it was your first mission and not your 20th when you were attached and upgraded.
Patton's Best is similar, but deeper. Both are great IMO! I made a VASSAL module for Patton's Best if you feel like quick try without pulling the whole game apart. I agree 100% with the mistakes point of view. Something happens when we put on headphones, but when push comes to shove, just have fun and roll with it!

I actually have Pattons Best. I've just not had a chance to get it to the table yet, but if it's similar to this then I am kicking myself for that.

@@thegimpygamer Similar with more detail! ATA was Gregory Smith's simplified version of Patton's Best! I am a sucker for anything tactical and a pushover for anything tactical and RPG like!

I thought that if you move backwards in a defend mission you fail the mission, since you are giving ground.

That might be. Most of my missions (on and off camera) were attacks so I had less experience with the defend ones.
