Ah, brutal ending but that seems typical from the forum posts I read. Brutal, but realistic. I have the same offline problem with the Hunters. My first three patrols I have sunk so much tonnage and have been so fortunate! Online, I'm doing fairly well, but nowhere near as good as the offline one!! Great video, sir and the camera is fine! You narrate well enough it's not really needed to see everything and if something pertinent happens, you shift boards around. No big deal! Have a great day!!

To add myself to the echoes here, the picture you are using is a great. And your commentary is even more great!!!!!!! Thank you for helping to teach me the game. This is one of the games I want to start playing first when my move is over.

Hi, I have now seen you play 4 missions. And it has been exciting to follow you and your crew - even though things went horribly wrong in this 4th mission. You do it well, explain the rules and gameplay and give good tips. 1) What is your experience with the game after 4 missions? 2) You have also played Patton's Best. Is American Tank Ace an okay modern sequel or replacement to this game? 3) It seems that there is a lot of "crew management" in relation to actual fighting. Do you think that will change in later missions - or is it simply the nature of the game? 4) You mentioned an error in the printed version of "Sequence of play" (kinda bad). Have you found other errors? And again: thank you for your amazing work with your channel. I don't see everything, but it's a pleasure to follow you. Your posts under "Discussion" are also interesting (especially when you announce new games on Kickstarter 😃)

1: It's a fun and quick game once you learn it. 2: I wouldn't say so. They both have parts in my gaming collection. ATA is more of a narrative game and PB is a tactical game with narrative parts. 3: Yepp there is, buying skills and upgrading tanks, big part of the game but I find it fun. 4: I don't know of any other errors but there is some errata in this game.

Tough break when the Pak 43 gets to shoot in the first turn! At least your commander survived. Looking forward to Mission 5. Camera setup is good BTW

First video that got recommended to me, this game reminds me a lot of the video game "Armored Commander"

Well that is because armored commander is a copy/clone of the old 1980's Avalon Hill boardgame "Patton's Best". This game is a redesign (much more streamlined) of Patton's Best. If you check out my Patton's Best videos, you will see that it's exactly the same game as Armored Commander! Cheers

I just heard that this game is completely sold out from Compass Games AND Second chance games in the UK! Wow, I don't think they thought it would be such a success. I hope that you can manage to find a copy somewhere!

Well, the 88 mm is the gun that was built into the Tiger I. A hit with that thing at close range on a M4? There's no way the vehicle would survive.

Another great episode despite what happened. Strikes me as very realistic, moving forward and getting nailed by a hidden AT gun. Video setup is fine. I’d rather see the board a little more clearly than see the whole thing.
