Culloden can be very atmospheric but is well worth a visit. Stirling castle is also worth visiting.

Cawdor Castle is the only one on this list I've not been to! Mary's King;s close is a little unsettling, but the nearby Edinburgh vaults were creepier! Stirling Castle is beautiful with fantastic views, I'd recommend visiting it if you get the chance. You don't even need to hire a car to get there - it's a very short train ride from either Glasgow or Edinburgh. Culloden (which the guy pronounced completely wrong) is very bleak and sombre when you visit, but it's worth a visit as you learn a lot about our history while you're there. You can feel the history. Overtoun Bridge is about 5 miles from where I stay and I avoided it for years till I ran out of places to walk during Lockdown. It's the creepiest one on this list, it has a horrible atmosphere which is localised to just the bridge. The rest of the immediate surrounds are beautiful containing woodland walks, some small waterfalls and a short hillwalk with stunning views. They actually reckon the dogs can smell Mink and other animals under the bridge and want to chase them, unaware that they're on a bridge (when you walk over it you have no idea how high up it is). There's actually a few documentaries about Overtoun Bridge, I think they might be on youtube.

Hey James, I’ve had a hectic couple of weeks at work so just catching up with your uploads! I saw the title of this one when you posted it - and laughed - you know this’ll be a LONG comment! 😂 I’ve been to all of these places and spent an extended period of time around 2 of them through work! With both Mary Kings Close and Stirling Castle, I’ve been part of the design team and subsequent construction team for public realm works adjacent to these locations. I won’t bore you with details but I had a site office in both of these locations for around 9 or 10 months each, this was a few years ago now but they were such iconic locations that I loved going to work each day and having such rich history around me. Unfortunately (or maybe fortunately), I’ve never experienced anything remotely unexplainable or out of the ordinary lol! There are lots of walking tours you can do in Edinburgh, especially around the old town, castle and Royal Mile - either guided or independently and will take you to loads of really quirky or ‘scary’/haunted’ places. Stirling castle is lovely and usually less busy than Edinburgh castle, it’s literally right at the top of a fairly busy street and you can walk up to it from the main shopping centre in 10 -15 minutes. Now that I think about it, Edinburgh castle is also like this. I’ve heard lots of tourists say that they’re surprised the castle isn’t out in the Scottish countryside somewhere as they’d expected it to be. Although lots of Scottish cities are really small by US standards and you can easily walk around the main attractions and shops, bars, restaurants on foot. Glasgow, Edinburgh, Stirling, Aberdeen, Inverness, Perth etc are all like this. Both Stirling and Edinburgh castles are defiantly worth visiting! It’d also be good to contrast these with some of other castles that are more ‘ruins’, still really impressive, but in a different way. Culloden didn’t look the best in this video, but it’s also definitely worth a visit as part of a trip to the Highlands. It’s also got a really interesting visitor centre with artefacts etc. It’s also only 5 or 6 miles from Inverness so you can combine it with a visit to Loch Ness and try your hand at searching for the Loch Ness Monster lol! Culloden is also only 20 mins or so from Cawdor castle, the last place on the video so you could ‘tick off’ a couple of things in one day. Overton Bridge has always been a really strange one - I’ve heard numerous stories from people who have experienced ‘weird’ goings on or a creepy feeling. I’ve always thought there must be something else going on there for the dogs to behave in that manner, another animal’s scent maybe? We’ve taken the dogs there before (there are some lovely walks in the area) but they didn’t behave any more strangely than usual - we still kept them on a lead though and weren’t taking any chances! Lol! I’m half an hours drive from there! You know I’ve got you sorted for a place to stay! So overall, I’d say all of these places are definitely worth visiting! Another great thing about Scotland is that it’s fairly small so most places are reachable the same day. I’ll pull together an ‘itinerary’ for your trip lol! We did a motor home tour a few years ago which was so good! We started on the west coast and visited castles, lochs, national parks etc all to the centre/west of the country. We then crossed from west to east in the highlands and then worked our way back down on the east coast. The motor home gave us the flexibility to stay as little or as long as we wanted in each place and to stay overnight right beside these amazing beaches and lochs that we wouldn’t have been able to do if we were in a hotel each night. It’d also be a nightmare packing up each day and moving hotels! With the motor home, that was literally your mobile hotel room for the trip! We visited a different area each day (for the most part), then had a list of great local restaurants we wanted to try in each place - where the seafood would literally have come off the boat that morning so was delicious and super fresh! We’d head back to the motor home full up - and usually a bit ‘tipsy’, (not the driver though obv!) we’d then get a good nights sleep and travel to a different place the next day! We even incorporated nights on some of the west coast islands if the ferry times were working for us! You’re going to love Scotland! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

I have psychic abilities that came from my grandmother ( my late dad's mother) I have been on many paranormal investigations but there are places that I would never visit and Mary King's Close is one of them. 💂‍♂️💂‍♂️💂‍♂️💂‍♂️🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿💙💛🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦

Nah ! If fifty dogs have thrown themselves over that bridge over the last few decades, then there`s something below that attracts all dogs in a natural fashion. Locals would believe it is something of a paranormal nature on the grounds that it`s a money maker. `Can`t remember the number of times I`ve passed `Baskervill Hall` near Hay on Wye in Wales on border with England - frequented by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, Doctor and creator of the Hound, the Hall inspiring the author to create the novel.

Overton Bridge they have found out foxes lived under the bridge, so it's there seats that make the dogs loose iit. OMG if your doing a film about Scotland please learn how to pronounce place name. Iv definitely got creepy feelings in places in Scotland alot of blood has been spilt on Scottish land. You can take a tour of under the 7 bridges in Edinburgh, it was lived in by loads of people it had shops etc. Burke and Hair the murders (worth looking into) spent time down there.

We've thousands of haunted places around the UK, and I'm not sure Scottish people would be happy that this person said about British Land in part of this video, they're part of The United Kingdom but definitely not British on British Land, he'd be over the boarders to say that into England. I know that not everywhere which are haunted are particularly old, some can be from the early too middle of the last century

Im not pissed, I’m just waiting for a shred of tangible evidence. You are either a liar, mentally ill, or just placing a simple answer on feelings or sensations you don’t fully understand.
