I love the fact that Harry Enfield (shop keeper) is desperately trying to keep a straight face during the part about dongles :)
This is a wonderful tribute to the original sketch. You can tell throughout how in awe Enfield is being in the same scene as Corbett.

One of the greatest spins on one of the greatest sketches. Four candles possibly one of the best sketches ever.
This is one of the iconic sketches that shaped British pun-comedy and is a fond memory of many Brits
@beeble2003

Nah, the iconic one was Four Candles, in the mid 1970s. This one is a much later homage to that (some time between the release of the first BlackBerry in 1999 and Ronnie Corbett's death in 2016).
Amazing! That was JUST like a 'TWO Ronnies' sketch, only.... ...funny. Great reaction!
Kudo's to whoever wrote this sketch's script. No swearing or anything like that just pure humour.
Saw your Four candles reaction and wanted to check out your other videos. Glad to see you reacted to this. Great reaction videos In case people don't know the customer with the frozen blackberry is Ronnie Corbett one half of th3e legendary Two Ronnies (Four Candles sketch reaction video on this channel) For Ronnie C's 80th birthday the BBC asked him to do a show called The One Ronnie. As his comedy partner/colleague Ronnie Barker had died the idea was to ask other British comedians to recreate some of the Two Ronnies most iconic scenes. This is a fantastic tribute to the Four Candles sketch with the part of the shopkeeper played by Harry Enfield.
🤣 HEHEeee LOVE watching you discover these old British sketches😁thank you for the laughter 😄👍✨

No, it really isn't a homage - it's two different conceptions altogether. The four candles sketch is about mishearing words - this sketch concerns the (silly) usage of established fruit denominations for modern technology. Surely you must realise that?

Brilliant !! 😊😁 2 genius comedians. This is an older Ronnie Corbett and another awesome comedian Harry Enfield .Harry Enfield and Chums are some very good comedy sketches as well ! 😁 😁
I used to stitch up colleagues at work like this. Pointing out the complexities of the English language and how most words have a second or more meanings. Most have a dirty connotation. One day i had a group of three mates at work rolling with laughter and unable to speak, or more to the point unwilling to speak because everything they said sounded dirty and could easily wind everyone into trouble. We had an old strict Manager Boss who virtually never smiled, he just happened to walk past and noticed everyone suddenly pull themselves together with difficulty. He demanded to know what the hell was going on so i told him straight faced and deadpan. (Its been 20+ years so i can't remember what it was and it probably wouldn't be appropriate either). His face broke and he barked with loud laughter which he quickly clamped his hand over his mouth and quickly walked away. The rest of the day he looked quite strained and almost constipated. Towards the end of the day he walked up to me, "Damn you! I haven't been able to get what you said out of my head and my mind has been wandering all day as i picked up what people are saying around me and I cant stop seeing double meanings to everything!" I got on quite well with him after that and was the only one that could get him to crack a smile. Then onwards he also tried desperately to try and stitch me up too in various ways.
I’d definitely recommend the mastermind sketch by them

My contender for funniest sketch of all time. That and Pete and Dud's "One leg too few".
At 0.47 when he say "lets try it on Orange" we have a mobile network company here in the UK called Orange.
The two Ronnie's are saints in the UK, from porridge to open all hours to sorry and back!
It seems that the final punchline is missing where Enfield shows Corbett the product AND states the price, "Eggs Box £3.60"
Thanks for reacting to this - took me back to the 90's! 'Eggs box' is a great punchline to all the rest.
That is a real funny and cleverly thought out sketch, glad you enjoyed it to.
That shopkeeper is played by Harry Enfield, he has his own shows such as Harry and Chums, and Harry and Paul. Many sketches of these shows are here on KZread.
Seeing as you love British 'old comedy' so much you should check out Morecambe & Wise, just as funny as The Two Ronnie's, especially 'Greig Piano Concerto' with Andre Previn & 'the breakfast routine' absolutely hilarious !
It always good to see the two (or one) Ronnies making someone happy.
Eclectic, you must watch , “ it ain’t arf hot mum”, it’s a comedy show from the 70’s about British troops in Burma during the Second World War, they are a concert party entertaining the troops. Absolutely hilarious, and not politically correct either. “A must watch” 🤣🤣👌👌
Would love to see one of "still game" Scottish show, still love all the 2 Ronnie's sketches, thank you for your reactions
The four candles sketch is even more hilarious
FYI, Orange is a mobile network in the UK hence why he wanted to to try the "Blackberry on Orange"

The dongle mention was extremely funny, because Harry was trying to keep a straight-face. Even i would struggle to keep a straight face with this. And the Eggsbox (XBOX)
This is just so funny .so well done .no swearing pure original comedy .pity nothing around these days like that
A few years ago I could go into a store and ask for a Raspberry Pie and I would get a delicious sweet pastry desert to eat with my family. Nowadays all I get is a circuit board. lol
A brilliant sketch. A pity the Raspberry Pi(e) wasn't around as they could have added that!
You cut it off just before the end. He was about to tell you the price. Egg box £3.60!😂
The faces they make during this sketch is absolutely gold.
In case anyone was wondering about the orange duality, we used to have a mobile network called Orange.
Enfield is pure class, always appreciates and respects others work :) He, Vic Reeves, Eddie Izzard and Alan Rickman (pbuh) did a great version of the four Yorkshiremen from Monty Python that you might enjoy.

@@MercenaryPen Yes, it was written for _At Last the 1948 Show_ in 1967, a few years before _Monty Python._ It never appeared in the _Monty Python_ TV shows, but they started using it in their live shows in the mid 1970s. It was written by John Cleese and Graham Chapman (who were Pythons), and Tim Brooke-Taylor and Marty Feldman (who weren't).
