The character building in still game is what makes the show for me. They feel like real people, almost like family. Plus I like your reactions, it puts a whole new spin on things for me.

Not sure if you saw my comment on a orevious post but you should definitely try "one foot in the grave" if you can find it. The first series is a bit slow but series 2 onwards is pure gold :)

I live close to Barrow -in Furness Cumbria ,UK. and the main well known stores have closed down such as Marks & Spencer, Debenham's , W.H .Smiths and many more smaller traders. Barrow is not alone and I wonder what would be left if BA.E. submarine builders were not getting billions from the government , a true ghost town I feel. So many people buy their products from the likes of Amazon [including myself] and other on line companies which includes the closed down stores here. I guess on line shopping is another version of our reliance on China, being lots of choice of cheap goods and cheaper overheads , but like the world wide web there are some heavy downsides .

Ah yes, "Hyper"...if I had to make a 6 episode personal faves series of Still Game, this one would definitely be in there, it's such a classic! You probably never got the joke, when Victor retorted '2 whiskies, ya flobbadobbaknobend!" to Bobby calling him and Jack Bill And Ben. lol Bill And Ben The Flowerpot Men is an ancient kid's show over here, where the title characters speak in their own gibberish language, like "Flobadobdob" 😂 Your Still Game reactions are always a joy, they never fail to brighten up the day for sure. :)

Hi, yes, as the saying goes "use it or lose it" Tough one is the local post offices, High streets like ghost towns in some areas. Here! Small town (⛳) majority of shops, for a small fee joined together where they promote their businesses, works really well. Town is immaculate, never see (or very rarely) see an empty shop. So it can work, 💙 scotland

she might of just opened it outside the shop after paying for it then brought it back in stuff like that happens a lot when you buy something for a kid and some people don't count that as paying for something because they didn't take it home
