The last three series are wonderful. Pay no attention to those who complain - they tell this to every person reacting to Still Game and these other reactors throughly enjoy the episodes.

Well you know what? I've been one of those people, I wouldn't say we are complaining 😂 complaining to who? We/I just warning because he loves it so much and the last and first 6 are not the same style, the language is changed as too not offend, still game wouldn't have ended, it would have been cancelled if they wrote and acted the same as they did from old too new in this woke/pc hell Scape, for example, queer hawk, poofer, the word F*GS writen on the cigarette machine in the clansman, the gay guy getting called a dirty bastard for buying that todd mag and much much more like less than 1% being black, characters not at 100% them selves, like Winston, I/we might actually be the minority but i suppose it makes it even more interesting to see the beards reaction and get his take on.

I still believe there's no such thing as a bad still game episode. Some perhaps aren't as iconic as some of them. But they all have great moments. I can't tell you how many times I've watched them and the newer episodes actually get better the more you watch them. They are all great episodes, some spectacular but no bad ones.

The next 3 episodes are some of the best written in my opinion, Lights Out, Seconds Out and Hyper 😊😊

Honestly, I’m a Scot who lives in England and didn’t watch any Still Game episodes until we’ll after the last ever episode was aired and I love the last three series as much as I love the first six. I think the majority of people who talk about the last three series not being as good, are the ones who were the original fans and part of the trouble might be due to the long wait they had between the end of series six and the start of seven. The actors/writers are older, there was a rift to get over…then there’s the years of anticipation and of course there is a slightly different feel. Not worse or better, just a little different. There is also a slightly different look, with the opening sequence being reshot, the aging up makeup being slightly different and the whole thing being shot in HD. There’s still plenty of laughs to be found, the cast is unchanged (other than natural causes) and the writing style is pretty much the same but there are these multiple slight differences that would be enough for a die hard original fan to feel that it is quite major but for those of us who are newer to it, it’s noticeable but nothing overwhelming. I hope that makes sense.

I'm not sure who is telling you the later seasons are bad, because they aren't. There were a few years between the seasons but they are still funny.

dont despair, the last 3 have moments that send you to another realm of laughter!

Season 8 and 9 are great in my opinion. But the last episode of season 9 is an absolute must watch (over the hill). You won't be disappointed with season 8 and 9 however.

It's funny that the lady said she was from Kilmacolm. It's a village three miles from where I live and it comes under the same council district. It does have a council estate but it's very affluent in places with some big expensive houses with electronic gates.

7, 8 and 9 are still hilarious still many laughs to be had

Lovely theatre pranks. Go to The Citz next time you're passing through Glasgow - you never know what play you might find - unless of course it's pantomime season. That's where they earn the bread and butter to pay for the plays for the rest of the year. A script that stretches the elastic almost to snapping before it is released.

I've seen several people react to still game. Noah Taffe, BxKid, It's a Vase and a couple of others whose names I can't recall. When series 6 comes round, every single time without fail, the same commenters come to tell the reactor they won't enjoy the last three series of Still Game. And every single time, without fail, they're wrong.

I enjoyed all the episodes. You obviously get the odd one that’s not quite as good as the rest but ,they are so well written and hilariously funny, you can forgive the odd one. This episode is brilliant 😂😂😂

I think people say series 7 8 9 aren't as good because it come back after many years, it was high definition , the lighting was brighter, the make up was different, all the cast not made to look older had aged and looked different, so a lot had changed from the original.

Love this show, I am from Glasgow myself so plenty of it is extra funny. As for the drop off in quality. Well, IMO yes some of the later ones were not as good, but still worth seeing. And no spoilers of course, but the final episode is a must

The later seasons are still brilliant,.maybe not quite as good, but there are amazing moments. Dont give up on it. There is a new character that polarises people, I won't spoil it....but I like him and he has some amazing scenes with the established cast. (one or 2 of the scenes he is involved in are amongst the best over the entire show in my humble opinion). As a native Scot I watched all the episodes as and when they were released, so I have been with Still Game since day 1. Get it watched....! 😊

The last three seasons are fine. They had a lot to live up to, but even though there are some episodes that aren’t great compared to the old stuff, then are still funny. The final episode is really good

You have to continue Alan. Ignore opinions, yes there is a slight drop off but you owe it to yourself (and us) to see it out. Weak episodes are still better than a lot of other shows best episodes.

Jack "Dick Chaney" Jarvis 😂 This episode used almost every stereotype about the village of Kilmacolm, from the Toff accent (which I wonder if you can tell the difference between the two) too the house names and not house numbers, I used to deliver parcels in Kilmacolm and it was a horrible place for that type of job, there's a particular road that's about a mile long and the houses are all big and different to the next, some with huge grounds and not everyone puts their house name on their door, some don't even bother putting their name up, some names are covered over by vegetation, some are on the perimeter, it's infuriating. Other drivers say the residents are "tight" or "stingy" (don't tip), most don't but I have met customers who tipped and were down too earth also, The villages around it are the same, I had to do 13-14 hour shifts with 130-150 parcels, the house names were real time consuming Good watch again beardy 👊

The village the ladies pretend to be from, "Kilmacolm" is a real place and seen as a posh village in the west coast of Scotland. It became a running joke between Greg and Ford in their previous programmes that people from Kilmacolm get away with anything purely by stating that they're "from Kilmacolm", hence a bit of laughter when it's mentioned here. I also grew up in Kilmacolm and got the p*ss taken out me all the time because of these guys 🙈 ah the good old days.

I’ll be honest, while not the best the last 3 seasons are pretty good. And the final episode is heartbreaking.

Glaswegian here through and through, and I can tell you if any Scotsman or woman has commented saying the last 3 seasons aren't great are fake Scottish people!! Still Game is a way of life here and to think some Scots dislike the last 3 seasons baffles me. Personally, I don't have a favourite episode, or a series, I have a favourite show, Still game, once I watch the last episode, it's right back to the start again. Make your own assumption after watching and don't let commentors influence your honest opinion🤜🤛 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

True, I didn't think the last 3 seasons were as good as 1 - 6, but 7 & 8 were funny. The last season seemed a bit disjointed and the laughs didn't flow naturally. The very last episode broke my heart though, without giving anything away.

Dont let anyone put you off watching the later series of Still Game. They are far from being shit, yeah it has the odd bit here and there that dont quitehit the mark, but its only a handful of times out of hundreds of classic comedy moments. My only gripe (if any) with the later episodes is theres a new character that they bring in that doesn't really work too well, but luckily he's not on it too often. Some of the best bits ever on the whole of Still Game come in the later series. Even the character i mentioned doesn't spoil things. I think when the newer series first came out, because they werent identical to the earler series, a lot of people didnt like them and did t give them a fair chance. But now they have been around a few years, and have had multiple viewings, they are just as much a classic as the rest of the series are. You need to watch them for yourself and give your own opinion and not listen to other people's opinions (good or bad - its what you think that matters to you) keep up with the great videos, your hard work is much appreciated. You really need to review the original Still Game live from 1999 (i have a copy of it with cleaned up video on my channel if you cant find a decent copy of it elswhere) its basically the first fleshing out of the characters, introducing a bit of a back story and its a million times better than the later still game live show that was released on DVD. I'm slowly adding the full collection of Still Game videos, extras, documentary and anything Still Game related - hopefully they will allow the use of the newer series at some point in the future. As long as I'm not monetising there videos, the copyright holder allows their usage. So i should have a good repository of Still Game related media for the fans to have easy free access to. I, kike most Still Game fans have purchased the complete collection on DVD, and have access on netflix and bbc iplayer, but find it quicker and easier to fire up KZread to get my Still Game fix, especially as i spend a lot of tme in hospital, and can view them on my tablet at a moments notice.

I cannot watch EB's posts of Still Game. We will need some forms of comedy safety net in our later years to watch as the crap they are pumping out now is about as funny as a fire in a orphanage, so I have stuck my dvd box set away. I remember the last series not being so cutting edge as the rest, but it would still outshine anything made recently.
