Brazilian history context: as Potugal Colony and decades as an independent country, Brazil had the most amount of humans slaves in history the western civilization. And centuries of african being slaved and traffic in ships tô Brazil, made the black population rise up of the whites and indigenous. After the end of slavery, the black population was pushed tô the cities outskirts, creating ghettos and favelas. Unfortunetly we do have a high rate of racism. But is structural and many brazilians believe that theres no racism at all in our society.

If you are willing to see what they represent to Brazillian people I recommend A Vida é um Desafio, Negro Drama and Jesus Chorou. The ones you already did. Diario de um detento (Inmate's Diary) is very hard to watch because is based on a real terrible event that happened in Brazil years ago. I would say: try... Vida loka I and II you might like. Abusing my power as a viewer I would like to give you a ticket to modern Brazillian music. Please accept the ride. So... recommendations... 1 - Haikaiss (Rap Lord and King Kong) I would love to see you dissect Rap Lord MV that came hot after Eminem's Rap God with one of the rappers, Spineli vowing to steal the "Fastest Rapper" from Eminem, and he did. Won the Guinness for the fastest rap in the Portuguese language (Brazilians speak Portuguese) with 0.8 (I think) words per second in their music King Kong (Yes, against Godzilla), and winning overall over Godzilla. I don't think you can find an appropriate translation of either Rap Lord or King Kong because the subtitles can't go that fast. And I'm asking for Rap Lord because is way more easy on the ears than King Kong. They are all Brazilians and I would be honoured if you did it. 3-Iza (Pesadão, Três, Fé) Pesadão shows the beauty of Iza's voice with bright colours and adds Marcelo Falcão (Singer from the band O Rappa, check "Oque sobrou do ceu" - What was left from the sky) to the mix is just a cool song when she was kind of a rookie and there are a lot of sexy moves and beautiful Brazilians.
