November 2004, Slade's Noddy Holder To make a guest appearance in Peter Kay's Max and Paddy's Road to Nowhere, in which he will play a garage mechanic called Mick Bustin. The scenes he will appear in were filmed in Bolton. Also for the past 25 years Holder has voiced, sung and appeared in many adverts for TV, film and radio worldwide.

It is Noddy. Also the two guys that work with him at the mechanics shop were called Les and Dennis. Named so after the comedian Les Dennis. Thats not all. Theres jokes hidden everywhere in this show. You just have to have a good ear/eye for them all.@@Thisistrulyoddtv_Mark

Peter Kay is such a genius when it comes to script writing, makes me cry laughing. Him and Paddy are such a duo, we need more of them together!

i love this programme...poor max's dream of 'Magnet and Steel' burnt to ashes....lol the thing about Peter Kay is, whenever he does something, weather it's a series, or for comic relief, people will jump at the chance to be part of it cause he is one of our funniest comedians/writers . hence Noddy Holder from Slade.
