Yup. I understand that it was performed the day before the submissions has to be sent so they submitted that and just also made it the official music video!

Loreen is nearly 40 years old and won the Contest 11 years ago, She is a true and wonderful performer. And yes! She won this 2023 contest making history for being only the 2nd person to enter and win twice ( Ireland won twice with Johnny Logan)

Loreen won the Eurovision with the FANTASTIC song Euphoria in 2012, check it out! I hope she can win the Eurovision again ❤

Loreen has describe it as "Euphoria was the moonlight, Tattoo is the sunrise" or that the songs are like yin and yang. My own interpretation of it is also that "Euphoria" is Sweden, where she is born and raised, that performance it rather was dark, with had snow, while "Tattoo" has sand and this warm desert light, to remind us about Morocco where her parents are from, but both have this ethereal, mystical feel and filled with so much love and artistry. The signs above her looks like Moroccan tradional tattoos, from the ethnical group her family is from, but some has also said they've seen Nordic runes, so perhaps there is a mix. It's like two sides of her in these two songs. The way she lifts "the sky" reminds me of Atlas, from the Greek mythology, and that has also a connection to her roots, since the place where he was thought to stand, the Atlas mountains is from the area here her family is from. The stones on her nails is also from this place. In 2023 Eurovision there has been a massive rule change, perhaps even a game changer? People from other countries get to vote too! So if you're a night owl, perhaps you'll watch it live, and vote for Loreen, if she happens to be your favorite? I think you will be able to watch it on Peacock in the US (or use some VPN to watch one of the European channels, like BBC) and there will be some kind of secure online platform where non-Europeans can vote... @@kayleighmoran Sure, but sometimes it's so symbolic. I think it's just one of the things Loreen does so well, she sparks and inspire other people's creativity, not just her own. The song connects with you, and for some it makes them sing, dance, or paint, but she inspires me to write!

Ok, Åsa. You seem mighty thrilled, and go ahead and write then. But slow down a wee. I tell you, Loreens song is meh compared to others. The lyrics is really very blah. I think that you are young and need to broden your knowledge on music and literature.

Sweden always has the final of Melodifestivalen (the show where they choose the song to send) the day before the submission deadline for Eurovision, so no time to make a music video. Instead they just send the recording from the live broadcast of Melodifestivalen.

OPh I see, but still! It really was that good. Typically though, the Artist makes a video and releases it a few week down the road. But, why ruin a good thing!

The stage in Liverpool can't handle that big screen above her, it weighs about 2 tons, so it will be smaller.

The berbers lived 2-4000 meters up in the Atlas mountains. After thousands of years their bodies had adjusted to live in this thin air and they therefore can dance, sing and breathe at the same time. their bodies had become adjusted to thin air. Loreen therefore has this poweful and different voice.
